I got selected on the basis of my class 12th percentage. A merit list was made, and I got selected. I guess for non delhi students 90 above percentage is good to get bpt. From upcoming years this college might take admission on cuet scores. For masters students, they have to give cuet and gdpi.
I choose this course because of clinical exposure and work for humanity. I can wear the white coat and serve the people. I also see great scope in this course, with increase in awareness among people for health. Almost all the faculty are phd holders, some are mba also. Some are MPT only. Almost all teachers teach good enough to understand the concept. Few are cherry on the top as they teach really well like dr richa hirendra rai. In one year we have to give 2 semester exams. 4 sessional exam. In 4 sessional, 2 best are awarded in the result sheet. Practicals also happens with every exam. Average students can pass the exam . Definitely if one thinks that by studying at night before exams, they can pass then they are totally wrong. One has to study throughout the year to score good, not just before exams. Many fail in subjects like anatomy and physiology.
College helps us to get internship in government hospitals after completion of course. We don't get any pay during intership sadly. We have to pay for it. We mostly work on rehab of patients. Patient load in the college opd is not high enough I guess.
I don't think so college provides any assistance for placement. We get intership of 6 months after 4 year course. In govt we have to pay 500 rs for internship. In private it may be high. One can start their practice on their own after passing out or can join any hospital. Very few goverment vacancies come every year for bpt students. Most of the students go for masters or abroad like canada, europe.
Year wise I pay 90000 ( 34k + 56k) being general non delhi defence category I have to pay same as general. Tution fees is 30k per semester. 4k examination fees per sem. We also have to pay 10k student welfare fees per year. For Sc- st I don't know, but their fees is less than ours. Non delhi students don't get any scholarship. But we defence category students can apply for awwa scholarship every year.
No fest is celebrated in the college, but as the new vice chancellor has come who was also head of the niper college, we have expectations that he will do something. He has brought changes in the college for sure. Library is well stocked with all the books needed. One can issue 2 books at atime for one month. Classrooms have ACs fans and proper lighting, ventilation is also good. Lifts are there also. We do have sports week also for our course. There are clubs also like raag for singing, acting, photography, Rotaract and NGO called umeed, to boost cv.
Only non delhites get the hostel. Selection is on the basis of the how far is u home from the college. Fees per year is 10000 for stay, 30000 for mess, electricity is free. If one wants to go for pg then minimum he will have to spend 4k per month for stay only. hostel is good. No ragging, just interaction with seniors. No pressure by any seniors. There is TV room, badminton court, roof also . One has to wash clothes on their own. Or can use the service, no washing machine provided. Kettle allowed. Food is good enough to eat. All the bachelors student have to share room with one partner. Masters students get single room form second year.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
