I had gone through the same medical issues as I'm studying now so i knew about my college environment before joining.. In my time we qualified a exam named as CET to get a seat in this course . As i was preparing for neet it didn't take much effort to clear CET . My college have all the good qualities like nice environment, friend circle , transport system , etc ..
As an OTist my course curriculum is perfect for every female . I was too much inspired from their help before joining.. More than half of my faculties are PhD holders and they are very good at teaching and with patients also .. As this course is of 4.5years we got 8 semesters in total 2 semesters per year and 1st 2 years are quite easy .
Last 6 months of this course is for internship purpose.. Internship takes place in 3 different medical colleges like SVNIRTAR, SCB Cuttack and AIIMS Bhubaneswar.. We get arround 15000 per month as stipen. The main project is to work under faculties and help patients to reach their goal and help our co workers.
Placement is also good ... Placement occurs in urban areas like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri and rarely in rural areas like mayurbhanj , koraput .. The highest packeage is about 100000 in private sector.. There's a chance of 75% of students get Placement after graduation.. After graduation i intend to complete PG and then lectureship in my college..
So i paid like 28000 per year and there's no other fees except exam form fill up fees. There's 2 type of government scholarship in this course which comes around 20k to 30k According to category we don't get discount in college fee but we get a little bit more money in scholarship...
In 1st month January we have our sports week In February we got our annual fest .. and like that we celebrate all the programs with our faculties and friends.. Each department holds 4 smart classroom.. Library is in good condition..all the recent edition books are available.. There're a lot of groups in social media run by our seniors and college itself..
Monthly hostel fee is around 1000 and mess fee is 1700 .. they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner,, food quality is good and importantly hygienic..we apply for hostel during admission and get selected in rank basic... For pg we have to pay like 2500 per room and can take our food from hostel as usual ..
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
