- The campus is well equipped with sports facilities and provide multiple events for the student providing good bonding sessions.
- The labs are well equipped and the curriculum is in accordance with industry norms.
Dislikes
- The college can have better connectivity to the hostels as students are needed to walk a lot, which may become tiring.
- The college should have guest lectures from industry professionals.
Remarks :
The admission to the colllege is based on an exam known as MET or MANIPAL ENTRANCE TEST. The cut off for the college varies every year. CSE allied branches were offered at 5k rank till last year.ECE was offered at 8941 last year. The entrance exam is easy and scoring.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am currently studying in Cyber physical systems which was offered to me at 16k rank. This course is a hybrid between CSE dept and ECE dept. The subjects offered are from both these branches like COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE AND ORGANISATION, DATA STRUCTURES AND ALGORITHMS, Microcontrollers, Digital transmission etc.
Placement Experience :
Companies come to provide internships in the third year and come for placement in fourth year. Placements is usually good and gives an average of 12 lakhs per year. Companies like goldman sachs, wipro, microsoft and tata come for placement. Due to a very good alumni system the placement becomes easy. The notable alumni of manipal includes Mr. Satya Nadela (CEO Microsoft) Mr. Rajiv Suri( founder Nokia).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For my first year the college fees was around 3 lakhs. From second year till fourth year my academic fees is 4.5 lakhs per year. The fees are different for different branches. For CSE related branches the fees is close to 5.15 lakhs per year. The hostel fees is close 1.6 lakhs per year but it depends on the type of room it ranges from 90,000 to 1.6 lakhs per year depending on the hostel and hostel room. The mess charges are around 50k.
Campus Life :
There are three major fests in the college:- 1. Techtatva :- this fest takes place in September or October month. This is the Techfest of MIT MANIPAL. 2. MES:- Manipal entrepreneurship summit is an event organised by E cell where students display there start up ideas. 3. Revels:- This is the cultural fest of MIT MANIPAL and is the most awaited among students. There are multiple sports, esports and cultural events. There are concerts as well where well known musicians,rappers and bands perform.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel fees is close to 1.6 lakhs per year including mess but it varies with respect to different hostel and different room types . There are around 25 hostels. For the first years boys the hostels are 5,6,10,16,17 and for first year girls 3,4,7,22,21. The room types are single Ac and attached washroom which is the most expensive, then there is double AC with attached washroom and the last is double non ac and common washroom in block 10,5,6. Non attached washroom and common washroom is not suggested for students. There are multiple messes like FC1, FC2, apoorva and Aditya mess. The mess food is also good.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
