I didn't had much knowledge about course and stuff all i wanted was admission in north campus college and drc's rank was 17 at that time and this year we got 72 rank best thing about my course is its not that hard like hons courses i think they should add more information in course instead of teaching food reviews and cleaning stuff all i learnt in these 2 years is making diets and cooking food the events are okayish not so good and i gave cuet my college's cutoff at that time without any quota was 600+ marks in first & second round but third and second round selection are based on how many people don't accept there seats + now rating is pretty low so I don't thik that cut-off will be that high this year but as its an north campus college people will still choose it in their top preference so it varries cuz there are only 6 colleges in north campus area and this one is easiest to target and syllabus for cuet is ur 12th class syllabus
As i said I didn't had much knowledge about course and stuff all i wanted was admission in north campus college and drc's rank was 17 at that time so bcz of this I chose drc but the teaching staff is pretty good teacher are highly educated too except some every semester we had exams which were not so hard according to me in my course cuz my major was all about nutrition and cooking so Even tho u haven't studied much u can make answer .
Yee ihve did 2 internships till now from Linkedin, my college organises a internship fair for students where some start-ups come last year there were 44 stalls some were foundations ngos and start-ups most of them give unpaid internships so I didn't gave any interview their + they only prioritise 2nd and 3rd yearies.
There is no placement opportunities for my course so currently I am focusing on making my cv kinda strong by doing internship through LinkedIn and after completion the course there are not much chances of getting employment in my course so I'll be going in corporate or some government exams and I'm also planning doing master from distance and side by side I'll do some courses too.
The feee of my course first year was 33000 in first year second year it was 30000 and ig in 3rd year it'll b approx 30k our college doesn't tell us in detail that for what facilities we're actually paying it for we did protest last year too for fee hike then they allowed us too see it but we were not allowed to take pictures of it and in my course I am paying fees for computer lab and my course is ba prog music+nutrition so there is no sense to pay computer fee + wifi bill electricity bill library bill the wifi doesn't even work and other courses like bsc & bcom are paying approx 40k fees which is literally double of our senior batches there is no merit based scholarship as much as ik but there are some like for students whose parents died they get some one to sponsor their fee so I'll not say its a scholarship.
My campus and college life pretty good cuz i socialise a lot and festts are best thing of this college life and being drcian u get this exposure a lot u can go in any du's fest and my colleges fest are best too the name of my college fest is manjari and it often happens in march library is okayish the library staff is too bad that's why I don't use it at all sports complex is ded there are only indore games no basket ball ground etc as an extracurricular activity u can join various societies like dance acting debate drama many more but sadly u have to fund ur society on ur own but its fun.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
