one of the best private colleges of BAMS degree. they provide all round practical experience and theory as well. some of the faculty are very good, and most of them are PHD holders. i got admission through NEET exam where i scored 400 (general). cut off is usually above 370 for general and above 300 for other categories
faculty is really good. some of them are established doctors with a very good running practice. teaching method is according to NCISM syllabus. they are very strict about attendance though (70-75% each prof to attend final exams).
i have completed a research scholarship for SPARK (govt) through this college. we have a lot of opportunities to explore research or marketing side in this degree as well. my scholarship was a paid one.
we have a compulsory 1 year internship after the 4.5 year course. after which, we can pursue the PG course which requires AIPGET exam. or start our own practice which yields a lot of money. we can also apply to different hospitals. earning after degree is a tricky question, since doctors can earn anywhere from few lakhs to crores in an year. it depends on what u choose after the degree. i personally recommend the PG course since it is a necessity nowadays.
5% increase each year. this year its 5L. when i joined college in 2022, it was around 4.5L. there are scholarships available for quota or pwd students but i do not have much idea. u can apply for them or ask out faculty about it. there is a management category as well (around 10 seats per batch of 100) for which u have to pay extra.
campus life is not very happening. we have annual gathering once a year for about 10 days in which we have sports and cultural activities. there are clubs and groups as well in the college like trekking, singing, poetry as well as sports teams.
i live in a flat near the college. and all 1-2bhks are within the range of 25k per month. i personally pay 14k (shared with another roomate) for a fully furnished 1bhk home. hostels and pgs range from 15-30k per month which is very expensive and on top u have to share your room. stanza living is a good option in pune for pgs.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
