As I wanted a college which is not so far by my own town and is renowned institute to pursue my degree in computer science engineering the name of my college stood up to be best in the overall category so this was the main reason of me choosing this college over others. No interview is taken for admission as the admission process is completely based on merits and CAP round scores from the Maharashtra board cell.
The overall course curriculum is good the faculties assigned for the courses are well experienced, friendly and well behaved. They prioritize concept clearing and mainly focus on doubt clearing and motivate every student to perform better in academics.
The internship opportunities in the college are quite interesting as we are provided with both options of in campus and off campus internship opportunities. And internships from renowned companies even international colleges are provided here.
The college has a moderate type of placement opportunities as it is completely on student's performance in their overall course time but the companies coming here for the placement are quite good and renowned in IT sector.
The tuition fees for my course for btech in computer science engineering is rupees 90,000 with additional development fees of 12,000 which collectively makes the course fees to be 1,12,000. All type of Scholarship schemes like students with general category can choose minority or EBC or other caste students can choose Scholarships provided for SC,st or OBC and those who belong to NT. In minority students get a fee wavier of 50% in total tuition fees while those with OBC just have to pay development fees and other negligible charges like wi-fi and library fees.
The social life in the college we can say as so so, as the college mainly focuses on academics over social functions and events but whenever we get a chance to plan a event in the college everyone enjoy to their fullest. We also have sports and teachers here motivate us to participate in various sports. We even have clubs for every department in the college.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
