I wanted to pursue AI&DS Engineering from Pune University so I gave MHT-CET exam & cleared the cutoff for addmission. There are very few colleagues which used to have AI&DS course in 2022 so I choose this one.
As AI is nowadays growing so I wanted to try new field & explore this stuff. All of our faculty members are Master degree holders & 10+ teaching experience. Exam are held according to the university one semester has 2 exams INSEM & ENDSEM.
I opted for an internship in CODING NINJAS but it was not provided by my it was done by myself. I was there for 6 week training program which helped me to learn about new things in the market. The gave me stipend of 5000 for 6 weeks
The placement is very weak at my college the don't give 100% placements as they claim. Most of TCS & startups come for placement drive. The criteria for placement is that students should be all clear with 7.5 GPA score
My college has 86000 Annual fees but as I belong to reservation SC so I don't need to pay it. As I am eligible for full scholarship. For open category it's 86000 for EWS & TFWS students it's 50% of the total fees
We have very small infrastructure we celebrate fest cultural events in the month of February but that is not as good as other colleges as the location of our college is not that premium. We have sports like Kabaddi, cricket, football, badminton court, etc. We have a huge playground. We have few clubs in college according to departments.
No have not opted for hostel but my friends stay there the hostel facilities are good but the Mess food is not good. There are some time restriction that no one can enter the hostel campus after 9:30 also the hostel is in the same campus of the college
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
