- All the tourist places are nearby so you can travel the wonderful Himachal Pradesh
- Hostels are good especially the lifts we use even for a single floor
Dislikes
- Poor transport connectivity of Una city as well
- Main city is 9Km from the campus , so we need to travel if we gonna do some funin city
Remarks :
I was thinking to join TIET and LMIIT but the fee was high also there was no IIIT tag so i choose IIIT Una i was getting CSE in all of them. Admission Process - JEE Mains followed by JOSSA councelling and CSAB.
Course Curriculum Overview :
You will be taught things relevent to your interest. Espacilly hardware is taught really well. All the classesrooms are well equiped. They can improve in labs quality. Exams are held 3 times per semester. faculty to student relationship is good you can go to cabins anytime for your quaries. . Some teachers dont teach upto the mark sometimes it is felt that they lack knowledge in what they are teaching. Exams difficulty is upto the teacher but relative grading makes it earies to pass and score.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently i have opted for one internship Internship oppertunity are lesser this time dues to condition of job market in IT industry right now , It can be said that in my batch around 50 % are doing internships
Placement Experience :
You are given oppertunity to get placed from 7th semester. Currently the avarage package is around 9 lpa and highest is around 65 lpa. currently in final year 50% are placed. The internship is avaiable in 8th semester so there are high chance of getting ppo.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise tution fees - 2,40,000/year all types of charges are included. Hostel fees - 86,000 /year Since i am from Rajasthan Genral Catagory I was not eligible to scholership but if you are eligible you can avail the scholerships including state and centre. All branches have same fee structure.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good but not to exposure giving. IIITU offers you to fest Mridang - Cultural fest Yalgaar - Sports Fest Miraki - Tech fest. Labirary is very small you can only get collage subject related books. The classrooms are well equiped with all the facilities including smart boards and projectors
Hostel Facilities :
In rooms we are provied with fans, wifi , lights but no coller AC are available not even kettle. Hot water is availble in winters. Food quality is decent. You are not allowed to be a day scholer so you have to opt for hostel only . Hostel Fee: INR 86000 per year

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
