Dislikes
- Open campus and various brawl incidents that happen by outsiders
- Mess food and weather is very humid and hot, specially in May and June.
Remarks :
The placements of my branch is excellent, that's why I chose to pursue Chemical Engineering. The average CTC of my college is 20LPA. I discussed about this college with my teachers and they told it is very old and reputed institute.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is relatively easy as compared to the top IITs, faculty are well qualified. There are two exams in one semester. The teaching method of most of the professors in orthodox and uneffective while the tutorials and assignments they provide are of very good level.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I am in first year so I don't possess any hard skill so I don't have applied for any internships. Mostly students apply for internships in third year and some students also do internships in second year depending on their skillset.
Placement Experience :
Placements vary on the basis of branch. The circuital branches have placements of almost 90%. Mechanical and Chemical Engineering have a placement rate of almost 70%. While lower branches like material sciences, pharmaceutical have placement of about 40-50%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general category, the tution fees is 106000, while for other candidates it is low. Mess fees is same for all students which is 15000 rupees. The hostel fees is negligible which is rupees 15 per month. The academic and mess fees mentioned before are for one semester.
Campus Life :
IIT BHU frequently organizes fests whether they they are tech related fests or cultural fests. There are many clubs for students to enhance their skills. One big setback of campus is that it is an open campus. Before you take admission in this I want you to make your opinion that IIT BHU is slightly unsafe as many incidents of brawl happen in the campus by people who come from outside.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel registration is the first formal procedure which you have to complete when you take admission, hostel fees is 15 rupees per month(negligible). Three students live in one room. Food quality of the mess is not good.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

The placement are nice, this year the Highest package was of 60 Lakh and the Average package was of 5.4 Lakh. There are a lot of internships oppourtinity also so you get to experience Industry work during you 3rd year which gives you a heads up.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
