My review of kc as a final year student
Likes
- Good classrooms. Specially after the renovation.
- Canteen food, mainly serves pure veg and jain. And fun activities, fest and treks. Great social sphere. Good library.
Dislikes
- Renovation was done at the wrong time which made it very difficult and dusty.
Remarks :
The college is located in mumbai a city with various amenities. Facilities and quality of education is very good compared to the fees. When I joined college there was no entrance exam or interview. So its mainly based on you HSC marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Kc has got a very good course and faculty. The professors and tea hers are well educated and focus on liberal studies. The exams are timely and the environment is calm. Difficulty is based on how well you studied.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes fees do increase annually due to inflation. The price goes up by 12% to 8%. Fees differ from aided and non-aided course. It's important to understand that fees vary significantly depending on the specific course of study. Arts, commerce, and science programs will all have different fee structures.
Campus Life :
I have made many friends and connections. It's worth it if one takes part in fest and cultural events. There are several clubs in the college one of the best would The Gender issue cell. Political science debates ade very fun. The college also takes part in MUN
Hostel Facilities :
I don't live in the college hostel. However there are third party ties with hostel facilities. One of them is your space. It is 2 km away from kc, churchgate campus. The pricing starts from 25 thousand till 40 thousand.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
