KMC- is it worth it

- Our college infrastructure is a bit old but the faculties are good and overall campus life is also good. There is always something happening in the college campus which is fun.
- There are different clubs and societies in the college which give students a chance to explore there interests and passions. There are societies of every department.
Dislikes
- Our college infrastructure is old and there is are some need for improvement in the building.
- The infrastructure is outdated and the teaching equipment is not modern.
Remarks :
This college is one of the best colleges in north campus. I got admission through the CUET examination, which is an mCQ based test. cut off for my course was 776. I prepared for it using NCERT textbooks of class 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Kirori Mal is very much famous for my course that is BA hons pol science. It is one of the best course in Kirori Mal college. Accademics and Faculties pf our department is best and bery helpful. We have six semesters and we also study different subjects for different Semsters.
Internships Opportunities :
I had opted for a internship which was related to on field language translators I came to knew about it through my professor, they even laud me later and it was one of the best experience I had, I met a lot of people, learnt a lot and made new friends too.
Placement Experience :
KMC is one of the most famous and best college of the North Campus thus because it is very much popular the placement and job opportunities after completion of the course is very much however I don’t know very much about it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have opted for BA hons polscience and I come from ST background thus my fee is around 17000 and it is not very much for the course which is considered one of the best in the KMC infact in the whole north campus and i don’t think that the fee structure would increase any much in the future.
Campus Life :
The social life in KMC is very much happening. There are various societies and one can be part of more than one society that he/sje is interested in. There are always some programs and events going on and it helps very much in getting experience and exposure.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but as fas as i have heard, the mess food is good. The rooms are also spacious. However there is no girls hostel in college. There is only boys hostel. You have to maintain a GPA to stay in the hostel. I have rented a pg in kamla nagar which is walking distance from the college.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
