- The ambience and the nature of course provides a great learning environment.
- The cafe and social zones to have great discussions with friends.
Dislikes
- The auditorium could have been made more good.
- The back building is a problem during summers as it is not properly ventilated.
Remarks :
The atmosphere of the city and apart from that it is a famous college in Chandigarh affiliated to Panjab University which is again a well renowned institution in Chandigarh and it has a great reputation around in the state.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course offers a great knowledge about literature and English language. The faculty at DAVC is really experienced and good , they offer great classes and knowledge. Faculty is well experienced and share great details about every topic.
Internships Opportunities :
I was placed to a School for internship that offered a great experience as I always wanted to go for the academic type of job. It offered a great deal of learning as a future teacher that I am right now.
Placement Experience :
Every year there is a Placement cell that comes to offer jobs. Different companies visit offering good intership and job opportunities to students. It offers good packages and great opportunities according to the potential of a child.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees was 20000 per year making it to a total of 60000 for three year course I pursued. And it is for general it is way less for other categories. It is the best for this course and way less than other colleges fee structure.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good . People there are good and maintains a great social and learning environment. There are two cafes in College and a great place to have discussions and socialize. Overall a great place for leaning to take place.
Hostel Facilities :
Life at Hostel was really good. The rooms are open and good ventilated. They have AC and non AC rooms both. There is common room to enjoy and chill as well during the free time. Mess serves a really tasty and healthy Punjabi food that is always a pleasure to eat.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
