The admission in RGIT is first based on the percentile of your CET exams and JEE. The minimum CET marks required are 85 percentile and above for CS till the 3rd cap round. There was no GQD round for admission in college.
As the current market world is concerned the CS and IT is more booming than any other field. And if the placements of companies are concerned then these streams are the best. The teaching and non-teaching staff are both good here. Most of the teachers have a special way of teaching students i.e. special in a good way. There are 3 exams in a term i.e. 2 mid terms and a semester.
There are many internship programs available through our college, many startups by RGIT's past students take students on board for internship certificates. Some are paid and some are for experience. Projects are one of the most important things in here for every student. You get to learn a whole lot of things ranging from mini projects with making to simple websites to making major projects backed by a secured database.
The placements in RGIT are moderate ones. Big companies like TCS and Wipro visit here to rank up students. Students who actually are coping into the placements through college are around 40%. There are students who got 20LPA too and many have started their own successful startups. Well, after degree i plan to join Armed Forces.
The fees for normal students is almost 125000rs per year and for other students it depends on what caste they are from. That is their fees varies from 70k to 5k respectively. The tuition fees of all kinds are included in these 125000rs.
The overall campus in terms of infrastructure is not big, but it is big enough for fests to be held properly with conference room and many auditoriums. Even library is rich in books though you cannot issue the reference book to take home. The college formal social life is well maintained by various committees and their programs.
There is no hostel facility provided by college, far away students live in pg or at relatives place. There are many pgs available nearby. The college infrastructure externally is not that big, but internally it is well maintained. The only drawback in here is that there is no AC in classrooms. ACs are only provided in labs and offices.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
