Overview for choosing IGNOU university

- Overall college is good, whoever is want to pursue any degree from distance they can choose ignou. Exams are not also hard you can pass easily.
- As this is not regular college, so there is no campus life etc.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is little old, exams centres are also is not in good condition sometimes.
- Campus life is not available, faculty is overall good, if you face any issue , they will help you.
Remarks :
One of my friend help me to choose this college, she convince me that ignou is globally recognized university and can be good for distance learning. It is good if you are working somewhere or want to study other degrees .
Course Curriculum Overview :
As this is open university, so curriculum and faculty is basic, we have to study by ourself and syllabus is same as other university graduation programming. One thing is this here we need to prepare assignments also for each Subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internships but it was not through this college, you have to find internships by yourself because in distance learning programms, there is not placement support available that can help you.
Placement Experience :
I m looking for placement, recently ignou introduced placement cell but now I am unable to find any jobs. BTW in any distance learning we cannot expect any placement support but it's good they introduce and can help many students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure is quite simple, we have to pay fee before the registration and re registration means if you opt for 3 year program thn you have to pay fee three time before year starts. You also have to pay exam fee each time you appear for exam 200rs per subject approx.
Campus Life :
There is no campus life because ignou only provides distance learning mode, so there is no regular classes. Infrastructure is also old because ignou is oldest university in india but they should improve.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
