It's a prestigious college with high market value as well, but the best thing is the faculty of this college, every professor try to help in best possible way to learn the most of the subject and they have high level of knowledge. No there was no group discussion or interview for admission. Just the CUET UG examination was given and colleges were allotted on cut off basis.
I opted for B.Com(Hons) course because I had a commerce background and I am planning to pursue Finance in future. Kirori Mal College has one of the best faculties for Commerce, they teach everything clearly and to the point, they are helpful as well and are helping in a great way to build a good career. Also, the exams are held 2 times in a year, 2 semester per year and their exams, they are moderately difficult and test every aspect of the subject. And before final exams there are internal exams like practical, viva, presentation, it varies from subject to subject.
No, I didn't opt for internships but I see students opting for internships and succeeding in grabbing some of the best opportunities. Every type of companies from Big to Small and various sectors provide opportunities to our college students for internships.
Placements and Job opportunities come there regularly, as I am planning for further studies so I am not participating in it. But great opportunities are provided to students, companies ranging from big names to small and from various sectors are recruiting regularly from the college.
15000 is average per year which changes every year, sometimes lower sometimes higher but it's around this only. It excludes examination fees per semester which depends on your course, subjects and practical component.
The campus life is very vibrant with students from different communities and places, it gives a beautiful vibe in the college, also there are clubs doing various activities every now and then which keeps the college very happening. There are multiple clubs and NGOs run by students of the college itself working for designated purpose. The sports ground is really big and different sports are conducted there time to time. Overall the college life is really great.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
