Well i cleared NEET exam in 2023 (i scored 569/720) at that time this was the college i was getting. For admission there were both state quotas and AIQ cut off for State quota at that time was nearly 555/720 for general category while it was near 640/720 for all india general quota. You need various forms for admission like personal details, 10th 12th marksheets, good conduct form, a bonafide etc. Good points - the faculty is very nice i mean better than any faculty in Himachal pradesh they know what they are doing and many of them are passionate about their jobs. Patient load is good too which means my clinical postings are filled with new experiences. Bad - the campus !! The current building is temporary. It is incomplete there is no auditorium or ground. Lecture halls are insufficient without much facilities like appropriate number of speakers and ACs. But a new campus is under construction and i promised to be alloted in some time. And yes there are no college hostels
I want to be a doctor since i was 14 years old and being from a middle class family NEET was my only affordable shot to land a seat in a government medical college. Faculties here are well qualified there are professors, assistant professors, tutors and lab technicians. APs and Professors are generally Doctors ie they had done MBBS along with Pg like MD or MS while tutors had done BSc. And other subject related courses. Teachers of non clinical subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry only teach but for others like pathology, medicine, FMT etc. Have to deal with patients too. In the first year (which was non clinical phase) we have lectures on basic functioning of body including its structures (anatomy), its working (physiology) and biochem (reactions) sometimes teacher do integrate them with clinical subjects and teachers for example anatomy with surgery. In second year there are theory classes and clinical postings in which we started to deal with real patients.
Not till now there are no opportunities. Since this is a government medical college there are no internship opportunities yeah we do have to serve 1 year (5th year) under paid internship for this hospital.
You have to pass univeristy exams in order to gradate. Then there is a Neet pg exam which will complete your mbbs before that every student has to serve 1 year in college as a paid intern which is 18k a month. After clearing NEET pg you can choose which course you want to pursue your medical career in.
So in the first year the total fee was 60k which i payed during my college admission in august 2023 in which 10k was security deposit and we are assured that we will get this 10k back at the end of our course in 2028. Otherwise, the total fee for every academic year is 50k In which- 40k is the tuition fee. 4k is the student fund. 3k is the medical fund. 3k is the Dilapidated fund. For NRI students fee is 20,000 USD/annum And there is a concession for BPL students, they pay 42k per year.
We have a college Fest called Morphia back in march 2024 and this year it will take place in april 2025. I hadnt visited library much as our library cards are under processing but in some visits i had seen pharmakopias and other medical textbooks there. Library is above principles office so it is a quiet place and is spacious. College do organise sports by hiring ground of other institutes. Sports include cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, sprints and marathons. Intercollege sports fests are organised 1-2 times a year and we also have official sports team of our college. There are no as such social groups or unofficial websites which students run by themselves
I was living in a private hostel for a while nearly 13 months but right now im in a rented room. The hostel fee was 10500 rs which included mess, room rent, electricity, water and laundry. These hostels are private and they are affilated by this college in order to provide affordable accomodation for students, there prices and quality are indeed kept in control and check by college. Food here was so so i mean it was healthy to eat but taste wise not so good they served variety of things in the week which inckuded rice, vegetables, pulses, chapatis, paranthas etc. Plus a snack service was also availiable from 4pm to 5 30 pm. This hostel was 500m away from college. And my current room is just opposite to this hostel

The university provides good placement and internship opportunities. The training, guidance, and support are helpful, and the process is well-organized. Overall, the experience is positive, and students get valuable exposure for their careers.
Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.
I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult
placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
THEIR ARE LACK OF PLACEMENT AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS COLLEGE.VERY FEW COMPANIES THAT ARE COMING IN COLLEGE.BEFOR COURSE YOU ARE PLAN WHAT TO DO AFTER BTECH .THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEIR ARE VERY FEW CHANCE FOR PLACEMENT.BE INSURE YOU HAVE ALREADY PLANNED BEFORE BTECH .
The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
This is the only university that provides you 100% placement the internship are also great A whole lot of companies came here and provide you suitable packages according to your skills .the internship starts from the third year and it provides you the time to grind your skills
I got this based my JEE advanced rank. The faculty student ratio, typically between 15:1 and 20:1, allows for personalized attention and interaction. Faculty are well qualified for the job and their teaching methods are very good. The exams have a typical timeline and they are quite challenging to pass.
There are 36 companies that come to this college every year are maximum student get placements every year. Maximum placment probability is from computer science engineering . Highest package from this college is 1.7 cr
Our college placements are growing new companies are approaching to our campus for recruitment and internships. Google , Microsoft, Goldman Sachs,TCS and many more big companies visited our campus. so placement scenario is good than overhyped private colleges.
