- Academic curriculum is very tough here at IIT Kanpur.
- There is Restrictions on holidays. Very less holidays we get.
Remarks :
It is an IIT and I was getting this one only through my rank I achieved in JEE advanced. To get admission here you have to pass JEE mains and then crack JEE advanced. Then through JOSSA counselling you will be getting admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Very hard course curriculum and not flexible at all. Faculty is a nice and understanding. Courses are different for different different branches. There are quizzes in every 2 weeks having low weightage and mid semester and end semester in every 2 months.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I got on campus internship in Company America Express. Companies came here full internship. After r to many technical rounds and interview..you will be selected for that company. Roles may be software, core, finance etc.
Placement Experience :
Every student is eligible for placement here. Amazon equator came here like Google Microsoft, texas instruments etc. Highest peak is 4 cr and average package 25lpa Almost 100% placement rate here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
118000 semester fees Monthly mess fees - 3000/- No scholarship recieving. But there is a scholarship MCM available for the students having annual family income of 6 lakhs or less. They will get pocket allowance.
Campus Life :
We have three major fest When is annual cultural fest antaragni other one is annual technical fest techkriti and one is annual sports fest udghosh. We have a huge library you will get every book you want here. Sports facilities are good here three grounds hockey ground football ground in cricket ground also indoor games are available here. Many clubs run by student body like music club film club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are provided air for every student. Quality of food in maths is good here. Canteen is also available in every hostel. You have full freedom to go outside the hostel any time you want. No restrictionzs.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
