Remarks :
So the admission is done based on Josaa counselling if u get enough rank in Jee Advanced u will get it. I can say it was my best decision that I chose IIT Kanpur. There is one thing if you are not sure about the branch and confusion which one to take, come to IITk all branches r the same here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is best here profs are highly educated. I chose electrical engineering bcoz I like it. Here exams are twice a semester and depending on prof they can have quizzes as well. Taking about the difficulty level of u prepared well enough would get good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes! I am currently working as an intern in the National Payments corporation of India. I have been 1 month. I am working on a blockchain project. I cannot disclose my stipend here due to the company s policies but overall the internship is going fine.
Placement Experience :
Placements are really good here there are no eligibility criteria for anyone can register in the placement office. Many multinational companies visit the campus Google offers 52 lpa Microsoft 52 and many international offer tower research capital, Jane Street offered 4.3 cr in 2023, Glean offers 2 cr and many more...
Campus Life :
Campus life is best in IITk. The independence IIT K offers to its students is not anywhere else. There are three major fest of iitk Anaragni ( cultural)in around October. Techkriti ( technical) in around March and Udghose ( Sport) in around August. There r many clubs and societies as well. Programming club, electronics club, robotics club and many more.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
