- Campus life is too good so much freedom I can leave campus at mid night 2 no one will ask any question it's like a home
- Infrastructure is also good and college provides me to expand in any direction or dimensions that I can
Dislikes
- Peer pressure is worst your friend got a intern of 30 lakhs per month and you have 40k only
- Course curriculum and grading scheme is harsh and demotive you

IIT TAG Placement and circuital branch nirf ranking student freedom inside the campus is one of the major reasons for me and I wrote two competitive exam jee mains and jee advance for admission in IIT Kanpur
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is harsh and grading is also harsh In Kanpur students have 1 cgpa less than the other average initial cgpa. I chose electrical engineering because of the circuital branch that offers me to penetrate any field govt private administrative entrepreneurial and engineering of course. Professors are well qualified but arrogance comes with power and most of them have a degree from IIT and one degree from a foreign. We have 4 month semester and one summer semester but the summer semester is optional and difficulty level of the exam is very high due to relative sometimes a person who score 10% gets a C grade College revoked the tution fee for economic backward stu and reserved category students
Internships Opportunities :
I have an internship in the field of electrical energy due to company laws I will not tell the project but have a good stipend of around 40k. But I have a remote job so it's happy to have 40k at your home. I have to make a device for my company for research and manufacturing part.
Placement Experience :
There are no eligibility criteria for placement from the college side Students also placed on 4.8 cgpa and will not placed at 8 it depends on your personality and preparation. More than 250 companies for 800+ profiles visited and the highest package was around 2.57cr and average of 20 lakhs and more than 70% of students are placed across all branches.
Campus Life :
IITK have a total 5 fests Antaragni Cultural Fest held in October Udhgosh Sports Fest held in October and techkriti Technical Fest held in March Esummit Entrepreneurial Fest held in September or January and Prabandhan Management Fes held in April or March. If you need any PK Kelkar Library will provide you in digital or physical form more lakhs of books and journals are there every they increase books and journals Sports facilities are good if you are in the institute team they pay for your diet expenses for any inter-college level tournament. Everything is free for students to explore any sports More than 5 councils 3 cells 50 clubs are run by student students Gymkhana is so strong we can impeach the Dean if the students want The hostel are pretty old food quality is good but costly too we have to around 6000 per month for mess and electricity and the hostel

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
