- The vibe of the college seems welcoming and the student crowd with diversity has my heart
- The infrastructure is quite great for an off campus college with elevators and AC in auditoriums and library
Dislikes
- During Summers, sometimes it gets too hard to manage the heat with ordinary ceiling fans
- The hustle during the election times, but obviously it lasts less than a month
Remarks :
No, there were no group discussions or interviews DU accepts the CUET score cards. One must attempt the CUET exam and register into DU by filling out the application form which is released soon after CUET. Once the results are declared, one has to fill a preference sheet with there desired combination of college and course and arrange them with their own prior choices.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I feel there are many well experienced teachers in the college who somehow try to help students out of the way. My personal experience has been quite great with teachers. But there might be some teachers who sometimes pressurise kids over scores There teaching method is frankly speaking great. But with some of the teachers, it gets too bad because there's just notes and no one on one interaction with the teachers
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet I'm more into social working. But college provides internship with various NGOs, marketing and science related internships too. Recently, we got introduced to a new internship for the geography department Also, one could get into the VC internship during the summer breaks
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is decent There are several internships available through different societies and departments However, there are alot of placement drives held within the campus and in the university as well
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is fluctuating. One might experience hike or drive in annual fees. The fees differs according to the courses as science streams include lab and other equipment costs as well. There are scholarships and fee concession available for different quotas and EWS provided by the University. The lowest fees structure is for the PWBD quota, it costs under 1000-2000 annually depending upon your disability type and severity
Campus Life :
I was a social animal since school days and my college gave me opportunities to interact and grow. With various societies aiming in different forte in life, it gets very easy to find and grow in your interest. We have a well equipped library, a beautiful garden, a huge sports complex right in front of the college Our annual fest VIBRATIONS is a great one with famous artists performing added with various intercollege competitions It's generally held between February-March
Hostel Facilities :
Unfortunately, we don't have hostels but hoping to have hostels soon. Shivaji is committed to providing students with the utmost possible benefits and hence the management has been looking upto building college hostels soon

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
