- Campus life, Infrastructure, Flexible timings
- You have liberty to join extra curricular activities and claim attendance for it because you are representing college
Dislikes
- Mean Faculties and Deans , they are rude most of the times
- Attendance shortage can lead to backlog of a subject or sometime make u study the subject for a whole sem again

Good aspects More exposure to Extra curricular activities Good college environment No ragging Free of judgement Clothing freedom (except short dresses and sleeve less for women and joggers and torn jeans for men are prohibited) Outreach activities Flexible clg hours Many opportunities to students in college duties (e.g they can host fests and take care of evything themselves) Bad aspects Rude Dean Attendance is really strict (2mins late and you are not allowed) Costly (revaluation, re-exam , supplementary) Teachers are not so good in the subject they teach Hectic syllabus (2 assignment and mid sem) in spam of 3 months If u choose early morning classes ull have to skip sleep
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course I chose is B.com and it offers variety of commerce aspects needed in commerce field It covers accounts , marketing, finance and all technical skills needed in commerce employee . It's more like a basic course and knowledge needed for a commerce employee The facilities have completed ther masters and PhD and most of them are pursuing another PhD too. Teaching is flexible and unique not every teacher teaches the same and it's interesting and boring at some times 2 exams each semester, mid sem after one month of re-opening and end sem after the sem teaching days end It's easy to pass , as there is oly 4-5 chapters needed to be learnt in the span of 3-4 months.
Placement Experience :
At the end of 5th sem they'll start recruitment process and u have to not have any active backlogs for attending placement interviews. Companies like Delloite, Wipro ,KMPG often bulk hire candidates from our college. 75% of the students are picked yearly in our College with a good package accordingly offered during that year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I enrolled it was Rs.70000 and it gradually increased to 75000 Now because my college has become an University they have increased the fees to 95000 for new admission this year (2025) The registration fees is 2000 for the application form and it's non refundable Every fees is covered in the above mentioned amount and there is no seperate exam fees when u choose this course and the only seperate amount u will have to pay is Parking fees for a year if u want parking facility and Language fees if u choose any foreign language i.e Additional English, French, etc Scholarships are offered and accepted by the college and government scholarships are also accepted.
Campus Life :
Ther are many fests happening in a year, like Prathiba, Visages (big fests) involves DJ night which is free for students of SJU, and Ethnic day , onam celebrate, Pongal celebration all are done in the college and it's fun on those days as the college allows secular dance and songs and encouragement is also done even the teachers join. There a research center itself alloted for student and we can utilise nearly 400000 papers online and every student has a password to use the sources and library is open from 9am to 8:30pm. Sports is kinda partiality based it depends on the person who'll pick the students as they'll take oly the people they want . They are many social groups u can join , I can name them all but there is a group for any kinda interests u have.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
