- First thing I want to mention is hare professors are very chill and cool they understand the student's situations.
- Second thing is cultural events , every month there are some events which happened time to time. Student can be tension free of their academics.
Dislikes
- Everything is good. If something happens wrong, administration try their best and make everything student friendly.
- One thing is here , you have to manage time properly. Otherwise you will not get time to enjoy their college.
Remarks :
In research field in chemistry, IIT kanpur is the best institute in india. We have to pass JAM exam for admission in msc. JAM is one of the hardest exam. If you want to enroll in PhD you have to clear Gate or CSIR NET then interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Chemistry is wide subject for research. My experience and learning from my graduation in chemistry, it encourages me to find an future in this field. So my goal is doing PhD and becoming a researcher. Fir that msc is step. And for research purpose, Iit kanpur is the best institute in india. Here curriculum is designed for research purpose. Per semester two exams are happened. One during midsem and one is endsem . Professors also can take quize. Difficulty level of the exam is very high if other instruments students try it . But here due to best teaching from best mind of world, we get proper knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, this institute have it's own internship platform. Everyone students can gets intership from here. It depends on student's choice in which lab or professor they want to work. Some excellent students also get some awards and fellowship in the last of internship.
Placement Experience :
In our field, placements are in good numbers but mostly students from my department go to PhD from foreign institutes. Having background of iit kanpur make a easy pathway for students to go anywhere in the world to explore.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Generally, yearly fees is around 50 K. In which 10K per year is tution fees. But in case of sc-st , they get tution fees waiver. There are two type of scholarship. one is MCM which is for everyone. But second is FBM which only sc st students can apply. In mcm we get 10 K per year and tution fees waiver. In fbm , mess basic bill is waived off for sc st students.
Campus Life :
Campus life is the best life. Everyone is here for your support. Professors, batchmate, hall mates everyone is very helpful. You can't feel lonely here . It is like second home . You get every opportunity here . There are multiple clubs, sports ground, jym , shops etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes , everyone gets their hostel here. There are 16 hostel (3 for girls, 13 for boys). Mess food quality is also good and price is affordable. Everyone hostel have their own gym, library, sports grounds.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
