I got my addmission through an entrance examination(Mah CET). Others can get admission through giving Joint entrance examination (JEE) too. The cut off here for cet is also average,likewise if you get more than 70 percentile in both exams you can get admission for mechanical, instrumentation and chemical engineering.
Faculties and placement especially for mechanical engineering is quite good. As of for qualification of faculties all our faculties have PHD degrees. Exams here are taken in gap of 2 months. Generally Mumbai University sets the exams so difficulty of exams is moderate to easy
Yes we also have internship cell which provides us many internship opportunities. Many companies like RCFL,ONGC and TCR gives internships opportunities especially for mechanical engineering students. We can easily apply for all internship opportunities.
I got placement from our college in godrej enterprises and my package is 7.75 lpa. Our college got average package of 4 lpa. Overall placement opportunities in our college is quite good and especially for mechanical and instrumentation engineering is very high.
I got admission from TFWS scheme,hence my fees was 17000 rs and it was same for ST and SC too. But for general category fees is 120000 rs. For obc category the fees is 60000 rs and it was same for gen ews category too.
Infrastructure and library will give you old school vibes but it's campus and fests are really good. Books availability in library is also good. If you are interested in sports and extra curricular activities then you can apply for all kinds of sports. Clubs and others groups like student council and department groups are also very active.
Canteen food quality is not very well, so I will not recommend you for our college food. For processing of hostel you can easily apply and get hostel room as per your needs. Hostel is quite affordable too as per your needs
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
