there are no such rounds like group discussion and personal Interview in the process of admission, in delhi university admissions in college are based upon the exam cutoff of CUET ( common university entrence test), there are broadly three rounds where students got selected upon there score and category. and in the last how i prepared for this exam- basically from the beginning of my 12th i was focusing on the CUET and not on the boards, i was doing so much mcqs which ultimately prepared me for my boards and i did well in both of the exams.
i choose batchlor of commerce as my course because it will build a strong foundation for my future plans, kirori mal college is one of the best college in delhi university for pursuing batchlor of commerce. the faculty of kirori mal college is very friendly and supportive in nature, they explains the concepts in a manner that the students will learn it very quicly. they uses practical and real life examples for better understanding of the students. there are two semesters in a year which accures in every 6 moths, the exams are very easy and resonably hard.
currently i am not doing any internship from our college but there are many companies which offers interships in our college with average stipend of 20k to 40k per month. students compete with each other to grab an internship in big companies.
the eligibily criteria for placements in my college is based upon the academic performance of the student and how much potential he or she have to serve a company in private sector. almost every top of the line company came to place students in their companies some of them are google, microsoft, KPMG, diolloit, and every other performing company.
the yearly fees of kirori mal college is around 16250 per year for my course, i dont know much about other courses fee structure. the total fee that is 16250 per year in my case includes all the required fee that is tuition fee, caution fee, registration fee, admission fee, development fee, lab and other fees. there are no fee structure according to the category, there are some scholerships which kirori mal college offers for the girls with fee concetion up to 10% of yearly fee.
the fests and events in kirori mal college is great and happening, there are various departments and seniors who does ragular events in the college campus. the availability of books in the college library is sufficient but most of the books are outdated and having old concepts and examples. sports and extra curricular activities in the campus are okay not what i did expected from the college, the sports equipments are not well mentained and most of it is damaged. there are many social groups and club which often practices these activities.
the hostels building of the college are good from outside but i dont have much idea about the hostles and canteen and other services which college offers because i am not in the college hostel. but the hostel fee is around 70k and you have to perform well in your academics to remain in the hostel.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
