Remarks :
When I got to know that I will not get any seat in iit or nit or iiit, I started searching for best private colleges through online and family , the most heard college was this I.E pes university . I came here via pessat quota which costs 480000 rs per year which is a costly choice. The admission was via 4 modes till 2024, pessat,kcet,jee mains, management quota . From 2025 onwards pessat exam has been cancelled whose seats will also be filled through jee mains quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
ISA THESE are mid semester exams which carry 40 percent of marks weightage, they happen twice in a semester. ESA : THESE happen in the final days of semester which carry 50 percent of marks weightage. Assignment: they carry 10 percent of marks weightage, once only in semester. Lab which carry extra 20 marks for subjects like physics, python, chem, which will add up to total marks. The exam difficulty level will be moderate and tricky.
Placement Experience :
Placements are one of the best poj ts about PES UNIVERSITY. VERY great industry connections of management helps student with great placement ls. About 1600 students will be placed in 2000 batch with 500 students getting more than 12 lack offer per year. 60 lacks is the highest package and around 75 to 85 percent students will be palced amd around 10 percent elect for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Prof. MRD Scholarships: Merit Certificate + 50% Tuition Fee Refund for Top 5% of the Students based on their CGPA. Prof. CNR Rao Scholarships: Merit Certificate + 40% Tuition Fee Refund for the next 20% of the Students based on their SGPA. Distinction Awards: Merit Certificate for Students and 2000 rs for every student who scores above 7.75 sgpa in that particular semester. The fee for kcet quota students is 130000 rs per year including every part of the fee. The pessat or jee mains quota fee is 480000 rs per year and management quota fee ranges from 9-12 lakhs per year.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of books in library. Literally a lot. There are 2 fests happening in a year named maaya - cultural fest and atmatrisha- techno and cultural fest. Sports facilities are decent with best quality. Kabaddi, badminton,cricket,villeyball, chess,carrom,billiard, etc available. Hell lot of clubs are present here where you can participate based on your intrest but the competition for the clubs will be more because of demand.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
