- They are not soo strict about the attendence, like 65 % is fine .
- The amphitheater is good , sitting there with friends feels good.
Dislikes
- Subjects they teach , it more like studying and getting marks instead of learning skills but its common for most of the clg
- Desing of college building is not that good according to me
Remarks :
No there was no test for admission, i took admission from management quota , the admission process was easy it just took 1 day. I choose Rns institute of tech because it was the most suitable college according to my budget as the average price of colleges in bangalore is around 35-40 lakhs for 4 years . I paid 30 lakhs for 4 years and the college is good , its not the best , i would not say its value for money because bangalore is expensive city that's why fees are high , if i would have got this course in 20 lakhs i would have said its definitely worth the price .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is not that great , my batch comes under vtu now it autonomus.Like they teach few subject that are useless , in 3rd sem they taught c++ then they should have taught advance c++ in 4th sem but they taught microcontrollers instead of that. Talking about faculty for cse 3-4 teacher are really good rest of them just give lecture and go .
Internships Opportunities :
There is a samsung inovation lab where they teach to selected students only , i am not in that. Students have to give a test when they come in 3rd semester and only 50 people will be selected for samsung intership programe.
Placement Experience :
Placement is not that great in our clg , currently as of 2024 only mass hiering company comes , forget that google and Microsoft or amazon will come here , here companies like infosys , tcs ,wipro comes.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fee for the students who came from comedk is 265000 a year and for students who are from management quota their fee is 750000 a year for BE in computer science and engineering , for other branches like AIML , Data science thee fee is 650000 and for EEE the fee is 350000. The hostel fee for boys and girls is 140000.
Campus Life :
Social life depends on person to person , our college has good places in campus to hangout with friends but the security doesn't allow to hangout after 7:30 pm , for girls the hostel closes at 8:30 pm and for boys hostel closes at 11 pm but everyone should get inside the campus till 8:30 pm (for the people who live in hostel) , our library is okay you will get books but you have to read them in library, you can only rent books which are in course , classrooms are good , each has projector and wifi enabled classrooms. Clubs are not that good in our clg , we have a few clubs only like fashion , dance , singing, acting and sports . Talking about fest our clg conducts one fest in 2 years that too depends on mood of principal. But there is a small hostel fest which happens every year.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in hostel for 1 year , the hostel comes with only 4 sharing room which is a bit complicated , the food is managed by sodexo which is a good company so hygiene of food is good but taste is not that great , the mess is completely veg and paneer is served every monday , the breakfast is good but lunch and dinner is okayish , we also get tea or coffee at evening. You can apply for hostel from the college office. I am currently living in pg , there are lot of pg but stanza living is better than every pg here which is close to college also .

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
