The utter prestige of DELHI UNIVERSITY NORTH CAMPUS (one of the premium institutes of our country) was enough for me to opt in for this college. It didn't involve any GD or PI, merit was based on just the 12th board marks.
Statistics (H) curriculum embibes the students with versatile practical and theoretical skills that one needs to know about the industry. It's always in good demand in private as well as public sector. It has a lot of opportunities for studying abroad after your undergrad as well. Most of the books on statistics which are taught pan india, were publishings by our faculty itself!
Although I didn't opt for any internships, there are some on campus internship opportunities, such as the internship offered by VC of DU and several principals' of various colleges. There are also some of the societies in our college which offered several life projects to their members, providing exposure to actual industry issues.
Unlike most of the academic undergrad colleges, our college provides with many placement opportunities! Although the student to placement ratio is around 1/50 which is very good in terms of academic courses. Eligibility criteria is generally 7 CGPA for most of the companies. With highest ranging from 30LPA to lowest somewhere around 6-7 LPA as well.
The fees structure of my course was : Rs.14000-15000. Although I don't know much about scholarships, but there were some offered to economically weaker students with good grades during their course in semester exams.
Social life at KMC, DU NORTH CAMPUS is just awesome! Ranging from several cafes, delicious street food, multiple mega events, academic events, sensational converts to cultural events, alumni visits (and our alumni ranges from cabinet ministers to CEOs) and much more!
Unfortunately KMC offers hostel facility for boys only, and getting a hostel is even more difficult than getting into the college. With preference being given based on distance of your domicile from college, which changes after every semester based on semester grades of students.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
