- There are many societies which u can choose as per your intrest which is a good thing
- The seniors are nice and helpful , all re ready to cooperate
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is pretty mid as the reputation of the college is high
- There are no ac,s in most the classes except one or two
Remarks :
The admission process is hectic , one should always be updated with the knowledge of cuet exams , cut offs , allocation rounds etc . You should atleast have score over 700 to be in the top colleges , cutoffs may vary as per the course . I,ve prepared myself form youtube and u can do that too
Course Curriculum Overview :
I didn,t choose this course the algorithm of cuet did . I want to do pol sci hons but because kmc was allocated to me i chose college over course and guys don,t the same mistake as me , the college is fine but relatability is less to the course . The faculty is well qualified with a teaching exp of over 20+ years and the exams were easy as hell anyone can pass who have studied like 1 day before the exam
Internships Opportunities :
Nope i haven,t opted for any kind of internships but my friends said the stipend is bw 5k to 15k minimum . There are many groups of college that provide you opportunities to indulge in several internships programs
Placement Experience :
Frankly speaking i am jus doin dis course for the degree and i will prepare for gov exams to crack a gov job because i dont think that there is any direct job after doin an hons course in english except lecturerars
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My fees and my batchmates fees are same which means that there is no disparity amon the fees of general student and a backward student . The examination charges are not included in the fees . The examination charges are like 1000+ less than 1.5 k
Campus Life :
The campus life is great with many opportunities to improve urself in many fields like there are sports competitions and diff societies for u that u can choose as per your intrests like music , debating , filming etc
Hostel Facilities :
I haven,t opted for hostel but i know that hostel is decent and infra is decent u get 1 room sharing with another boy and also there js only boys hostel that is avl u can aplly inside of college and get as per ur marks in cuet and reservation

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
