- Nescafe'a branch food is lit , plus canteen provides decent food
- There is a gaming room to play a little when you get bored
Dislikes
- Not spacious at all plus no smart boards in classes
- There is a huge timming issues for outing hours , which is quite unfair for hosters it is 2-6 and day scholars can't leave college before 11:30
Remarks :
No test required for addmission it is based only on 12th result, all girls college made me choose it as I wanted to experience my college life with more girls around me ,plus mcm's academic record was vaise enough to be choosen
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose it because of my interest in politics, faculties are well qualified mostly but some facilities members are there by reservation, semester system is there first semester starts from June July and exams are in November December, second semester starts in January and exams are in April may , deficulty level of exams are medium mostly questions come directly from the book and many questions are repeated in previous years.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't got any chances for it ????. There are few internship programs but I wasn't able to take part in any of them as it was not related to any of my subjects pr field related to them. Plus some of them are offered during exam week.
Placement Experience :
There is very few changes of getting placement and internship and college don't itself take much initiative on it . There was only few of the students who were able to nail it as chances are very few and there is baat number of students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
25,000 admintion free , chance of increasemet is 10%(approx) , hostel fee is around 1,30,000non ac and 1,50,000 for ac which includes all facilities including rooms , mess food , laundry, library, common tb room etc .
Campus Life :
Infrastructure has both cons and pros , I fracture is small but still there are stuff to do , fests are held during festivals like Diwali and Holi plus main fest of college is called Meraki and it is held in February There is variety of books in library but it is little conjusted Sports are mostly for students with sports kota , but some dance and singing competitions are there , plus there are few club ,for dance called aveg and drama club parvaz plus a psychological department club called psyche minions and mostly are controlled by students.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is very okaish , foor repeats every week, being three years in hostel and eating same food over and over is tiring Registration process is quite easy could be easily done through website and it is affordable hostel but you dont get the amenities according to the price it quite low

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
