- I love the campus life here in my college. The campus is full of greenery and aesthetic vibes . Students hang out a lot in the campus
- The faculty is also good. We get great professors to teach us here at the college. They are well qualified.
Dislikes
- Being in a girls college we lack interaction with other gender and hence make it less diversified
- Infrastructure is bit below my expectation. It needs renovation.
Remarks :
Being in LSR is a great thing for me. It was one of my dream colleges to get in. I get into this college through CUET examination. The cut off for my course into this college was 784/800. But I got it at 746/800 as I was a student of EWS quota. Their are several good aspects in this college and very few bad ones. Our college have a great placement cells and students from all backgrounds get a great opportunity to enhance their skills. The only bad aspect I found here was lots of strictness regarding attendance and a lot of academic pressure. The environment here is too competitive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose history honours as my course because I found this subject interesting in me higher secondary class. Also this subject will help me in my future goals too. The faculty here in LSR is great. All the professors are very much qualified and have a ample of knowledge to share with their students. The teaching methods here is also great . Teachers rarely miss any of their lectures and each and every topic is made understandable by everyone. Doubt sessions are also held to help students. Talking about the exams per year we have two semester exam one in the month of December January and the other in May June. The exams are held timely and properly. Although it takes some time for the result to come because it comes under a University.
Internships Opportunities :
Till now I haven't opted for any internship as I am first year student right now. But ya you get a great opportunity for internships here in the college. Students from technical background and economics students get a great opportunities regarding internship as compared to theoretical subjects. Students. But it doesn't means that we don't get internships. We do get in many sectors like NITI ayog and many more.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are great here at LSR . The placement cells is very much active. All you need your skills to be presented properly. Many companies come here for recruiting students from different courses. The highest package offered at LSR is 42lakhs per annum and the average package is around 6-7lakhs per annum. Their are various kinds of profiles offered like HR, finance head and many more. Around 60-70% of students get placement from the college's if they work hard on their skills and cvs . After graduation I am going to be indulged into the government exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Currently, I am studying in Lady shri Ram college, Delhi University.My yearly fees is around 21000. And it increases after every 3-4 years. Talking about the scholarship, yes LSR gives a lot of opportunities regarding the tuition fees of college. All those whose parents annual income is below 2 lakhs they give them a refund of around 50% of their yearly fees. Also, other scholarships are held regularly which gives students a great opportunity.
Campus Life :
The campus life of LSR is really very great. We get a lot of opportunities here. There are ample of societies and culture present here. Students get a great opportunity to diversify themselves here. The classrooms are big in sizes and we have a beautiful aesthetic campus with a lot of greenery surrounding us. The library is also great and well ventilated. All the books and study materials are present in the library. Our college also provides a great opportunities to those who are more into sports. There is basket ball court, football court and also tennis and badminton court. LSR gives a great opportunities to those who are into shooting and all these stuffs. There is north east cell, enactus, art society, dramsoc, western music societies and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel. Because the hostel is under renovation. It will get ready by next year most probably. But as much I have heard of the hostel Life of LSR is also great. But students need to compete a lot for getting into the hostel as it is totally based on merits.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
