- As such, there is no bad thing in our university, but the hostel food I can
- The University transport system also is not very good as it is around 40 to 15km away from the main city, Solan and the transport is limited as after 5.30, there are no buses
Remarks :
I faces a entrance exam that was conducted by the university only. The exam was online. The reason why i chose this college because it is excellent in research work and I am into research and my main aim wants to pursue biotechnology and research in it, so I chose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the quotes for the research work as this University is solely famous for the research were and the quality of the research that is done here. Also, the faculty are quite experienced and most of them have done their doctorate in particular fields that they teach, and they teach very nicely, and they are always here for us when we need help they always motivate us. Also, we can choose minor subjects and after a particular number of credits done in a minor, we also get minor degree with with our major degree which is I think a quite good thing and we also have three term exams in a semester that total up and effect on our CGPA in the end. I just want to say that this university is worth if you want to get into research.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opted for the internship under Shoolini life sciences, and it was great experience and my faculty help me in getting the internship, and they also guided me for everything. They taught me the things that I was not so good in.
Placement Experience :
The placements are also quite good in our university. The name of the recruiters that come to our university are cipla, biocon and many more biotechnology industries and the internship we have compulsory internships in almost every year of our degree and the faculty is also very helpful in helping us find the internships and doing the right things. Higher percentage of students get placement every year. Almost 90% of the students get placement every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 1,15000 per sem as tution fee and 1150 as 1% percent fund so that rounds up to 2,32,300 per year. Which I think is slightly on the higher side, but taking all the facilities, if you can afford go for it, it is quite good
Campus Life :
The library of our university is the best thing that I think we can have the excess of we get 24 hour access in the library and the collection of the book is quite good. We have our course books. We have other books, story, books, and every kind of book that we need and we also have different clubs like the sports clubs and the literature clubs. And we also have various opportunities to do internship in the university as a research scholar. We can do a research work with PhD scholar and also majorly two big fests take place every year in the university. The first one is MOKSH, which happens in the month of March, in which various celebrities from our university, and we have delightful and enjoyable experience, and the other is Manchtantra which happens in the month of September or October, in which student from all the departments compete in various activities. Every department shows their skills and in the end, the department that was the best in their performances get the first prize
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the host food was fine, but I think the hostels are quite good about the facilities they give to students, and we also have access to various things like the night mess and the playing species or the socialising spaces in the hostels. And as we all know, hostel is like the experience that must have a student must have a hostel experience in his or her life and after a year, I opted for a PG and I rented a PG around 1 km away from university and it is also quite good and it is under the university. Only the university operates the PG.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
