Remarks :

I choose this college because it have good infrastructure and also hospital attached which give us more clinical exposure. Also, seniors told that faculty is very supportive and teaching is best. Another reason is that it have good patient inflow, so we can learn practical skills better. For admission, I give NEET exam and score good marks, so I got this college in counseling. There was no interview or group discussion, only NEET score matter. Cut-off changes every year, but for my batch it was around [400]. To prepare for NEET, I study NCERT books properly and solve many MCQs. I also give mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. Time management is very important in exam. I also revise important topics again and again. Good things about my college is good faculty, proper labs and hospital facilities, and also hostel is decent. Bad thing is sometimes workload is too much and exams are very stressful. Also, mess food is not so good. But overall, it is a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I always want to become a doctor and help people. Medical field is very challenging but also very satisfying. Also, job stability and respect in society is high. I like studying human body and how diseases happen, so MBBS was best choice for me. The course curriculum is very vast and need lot of dedication. Faculties in my college are highly qualified, most of them are MD/MS and have many years of experience. Some professors teach very well and make concepts easy, but some just read slides, which is boring. Clinical postings help a lot because we get to learn directly from patients. Term exams happen on time mostly, but sometimes they delay due to strikes or holidays. Difficulty level is moderate to high, depending on how well we prepare. University exams are toughest, especially practical viva because examiners ask unexpected questions. But if preparation is good, then it is manageable.

Internships Opportunities :

I have not opted for a internship because I am in 1st year. Internship only start after final year when we complete all exams. In our college, internship is compulsory for one year in attached hospital. Internship mainly focus on practical training, handling patients, case taking, prescribing medicines under senior guidance. Some private hospitals and pharma companies also offer internship, but mostly students do in college hospital. Stipend is very low or sometimes not given, depend on college policy. Tasks include patient diagnosis, writing case history, assisting in treatments. Some students also do research projects, but mostly focus on clinical practice.

Placement Experience :

In medical field, campus placement not provided. After BHMS, we have to find job ourself or start own clinic. Many students do internship in hospitals, then work in private clinics, research centers, or pharma companies. Some prepare for higher studies like MD in Homeopathy or other medical fields. No recruiters visit campus because medical students mostly go for private practice or government jobs. Salary depend on experience, private clinic earnings also vary. Starting salary in hospitals or companies is low, but with experience it increase. After degree, I plan to gain experience in good hospital, then maybe start my own clinic. Some friends preparing for government exams like UPSC, AIAPGET for PG admission.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

BHMS course is of 5 and half years 18 months 1st year 12 months 2nd year 12 months 3rd year 12 months 4th year 12 months internship Fees structure for 5 years is same as that of our admission year Tuition fees 95000 Other fees 30000 Hostel fees 50000 Registration fees 1400 Examination fees 4150 For the 1st year we have to give extra 6 moths fees that will be half of the yearly fees . Scholarship is provided according to category OBC 50% ST /SC 100% and others on basis of there category.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is little bit boring because medical study is very hectic and syllabus is too much. Most of time go in lectures, practicals, ward postings and self study. Sometimes we don’t even get proper sleep due to exams and assignments. But still, some moments are joyful like festivals, cultural events and spending time with friends in hostel or canteen. There are some clubs and student groups, but medical students don’t get much time to actively participate. Still, some students join sports club, dance club, drama club, and literature club. Also, sports meet is organized where cricket, football, badminton and other sports competition happen. Library is well equipped with medical books, journals, and online resources but many times important books are already taken by other students. So, we have to arrange books from seniors or buy own.

Hostel Facilities :

I stay in hostel because college is far from home. Hostel infrastructure is decent, rooms are shared with 2-3 students. Some rooms have attached washroom, some have common. WiFi is slow, but manageable. Mess food is not so good, sometimes okay, sometimes very bad. Menu is repeated, mostly dal, rice, chapati, sabzi. Breakfast is simple like poha, upma, or bread. Many students eat outside due to bad taste. For hostel room, we fill form during admission. Limited seats, so early apply is better. Fees is affordable compared to PG. If not get hostel, students take PG nearby, rent depends on facilities. Some areas around college have good PGs with better food.

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
