To get in the college is pretty simple and straightforward. You have to write one entrance test called MET. apart from that counselling rounds happens in which based on your rank given to you by test performance you can choose preferences of different courses
The college is very prompt with their curriculum. All the tests and exams so far have been conducted on time and in-line with the academic calendar which students get before the start of the year. Exams are not very difficult. Relative grading makes it very easy to get an idea where you stand in the college. Faculty are usually very helpful with a handful of exceptions
I did my internship on the last summer break for 2 months in a firm called Shri Ram Supertech, Chhattisgarh. It was a major learning experience where I was working under the inventory manager. I had to update and automate the Google sheets to track the inventory and had to report to my seniors about the restocking and currently ready finished goods
Placement are very good in here. Alot of major companies like microsoft are regular to the college. They come for both internship as well as placements. Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
