- I love the infrastructure of our college it has lot of greenery, good classroms, labs, canteen, offices etc
- I love the campus life of our college as we have plenty of things to do and place’s to hangout , also the girls are very nice .
Dislikes
- One thing that i dislike is that our college needs a to be repainted .
- Other and the only thing I dislike about the faculty is the admin members are slightly rude at sometimes maybe because of the work load .
Remarks :
My college is a girls college it is the best and at the same time worst thing about my college as you feel safe and free to do anything in girls college but at the same time lack exposure another good thing about my college is that the environment surrounding is very safe place to be in and off course the placements are get . You can ger admission ij my college through cuet exam score card after which you register yourself for DU through CSAS portal . If you score something above 650+ ( roughly , merit is high for general ) in cuet exams out of 800 you have a high chance of admission. I prepared for cuet through youtube and self study .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i wanted to prepare for law college side by side or a could opt for du’s three year law after my graduation. The faculty is very education, efficient, approachable, and uses modern and interactive methods to teach students. Exams happen twice a year the difficulty level pf exams is from easy to moderate the checking is strict.
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not opted for any intership yet as I’m in 2nd sem right now , but companies like tech mahindra , wipro , icici etc offer intership and students can earn upto rs 11000-100000 on based pf their skills . They get roles like finance intern , data any list, consultant etc .
Placement Experience :
The students become eligible for placement from laat semester for their courses . The companies that vistied drc for placements include wipro, KPMG, infosys, tech mahindra, accenture, HDFC, ICICI, BYJUs etc . The highest package of 2023 was 21.5 LPA and average package is 6.5 LPA . Over 110+ students got offer letters for placement in 2023. Over 88% students get college placements. My plans after the degree is to persue law .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This course is for 3 years 1 year has 2 semesters for 1 year i have paid 31250 rs and accordingly I’ll have to pay an amount of rs 98250 for 3 years . The fee 31250 includes everything for 1st year which was paid by me during the admission process . This is same for all the categories . There a plenty of scholarship by college for students who are not financially strong or who belong from st,sc, or ews categories.
Campus Life :
The life at drc is great . Manjiri is the annual fest of daulat ram college which is fabulous filled with great performances and activities. And there are each week some or the other events taking place in college like departmental or societial fests . The college library has approx 117000 books which are made available to all the students free of cost . The classrooms are available with table , chairs, blackboard or whiteboard, digital board or projects , fans, ac, lights . The college has it’s own sports complex with a very huge ground available with diffrence courts for different games , college has it’s own gym aswell . There are various social group’s, societies, clubs run by students like the nss, nso, ncc .
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for a hostel i live in a pg pf which the rant is 15k per month . But the college does have a hostel for which you need to register yourself as there are limites seats . The college hostel has all the amenities from ac to delicious food to laundry services to clean rooms and furniture’s a great infrastructure . The fee for 1 year for thw hostel is 113940 for a normal room in which mess charges + security + annual charges . If someone wants to take premium rooms the have to pay an additional fee of 40 thousands ruppes .

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
