I chose this college because of the NIRF ranking which was 8th at the time of my joining . I heard from my seniors about the quality education that this course was offering . And the idea of joining an integrated course was saving me the money , the time and the effort from pursuing two different degrees one after another .
Curriculum wise the course is excellent . The management subjects are my favourite . And the law subjects have some easy ones and some tough ones . The faculties have LLM or MBA qualifications and even some have PhD in their respective fields . The exams are held in two parts . The mid term is held at about 2 months after the semester starts and the end term happens after 2 months of the mid term . The difficulty level is a bit more than moderate .
I have done an internship at my district court in my hometown . It was of 1 month . I worked as a law intern . I learnt a lot of things there . Afterwards , I plan to join a firm and work as a legal intern there .
The placement session happens in January every year and it starts with the 9th semester students . The recruiters are from various legal firms and companies like Deloitte . Average package is about 3.8LPA . I plan to go for MBA after the completion of the course .
Fee structure is based on semester wise . The fee structure changes with every batch . The fee structure alloted to you at time of admission remains constant till your graduation . The semester fees for my batch is 75000 and the admission fees taken at my admission was 10000 .
The law library has all the books required for your integrated course with additional e-library facility to get help online . Sports events are happening currently at this time . There are cultural fests known as Justicia which happens in the month of March or April and continues for 3 days . The students run clubs which give various outlook .
I have taken an ac room and share it with 3 other students . Hostel costs me 85000 and the mess fee is 40000 additionally . The mess and hostel fees are different for every batch . The mess menu is great and the food quality is good .
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
