- The faculty in the college are not like the almighty and self centred people . They are friendly and soft. Most of the faculty are young so they tend to understand us and change the teaching plans or schedules accordingly.
- I personally like the camps life as there is no commotion. Everyone lives their own life and nothing imposed on us. My personal best thing is that the college is very active culturally in helping the students know more about the importance learning values and respecting our culture.
Dislikes
- The campus infrastructure is a bit old and small. When compared to other colleges or branches of amrita . This campus is small and needs many more facilities.
- Outside food is not allowed in campus which is a huge problem as students should only buy from cafeteria in campus and hostellwrs cannot leave campus so they can only see cafeteria as substitute for mess.
Remarks :
The admission process is completely online. It is done through amrita online admission portal. The admission is depending on jee score, Amrita entrance exam score and if written you can apply other exam scores also. There is a lot of difference on the chance of getting admission based on the home state of the student. If a student from banglore applies they have more chance than for someone from Delhi or Andhra. The counselling process starts after 2 sessions of AEEE are done. Before counselling starts a few students are given the option of selecting non scholarship admission which comes to 6 lakhs per annum currently. If a student chooses non scholarship they have to pay 10k and still uncertain of their admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is well maintained and updated based on industry requirements but it is too basic. The faculty are mostly focused on reasearch and do not know latest technology. Everyone is making an effort to learn the latest technology and share it with the students. The faculty are all understanding and friendly to the students which makes the students fell free to approach the faculty.
Internships Opportunities :
I have given several placement examinations, the percentage of people who get an internship early on in their 3rd year is almost 3 to 4. All the internship opportunities that come to campus look for highly qualified students who are very good at their job but we only know rhe basics.
Placement Experience :
The college used to have food placent percentage till last year but things are not looking this year as the percentage dropped from 98 to 70. Accenture, JP Morgan, TCS, Cisco are some of the most recruiting companies. A student needs ro have atleast 6 cgpa to sit for placements . But students with 8 cgpa are the one eligible for most of the companies that pay good. The college also has programs for students who want to do masters in other countries.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a slab based fee structure. I am at 4th slab ie 4.25 laks per year. If a student is admitted with slab 3 he can never reduce his fee even if he is campus topper but if the student is slab 1 and does not study the fee is increased the next year. If the cgpa is not above 8 the slab 1 students fall to slab 2.
Campus Life :
The campus life is relatively healthy in festive season that is the later half of the year as most of the festivals are celebrated. If you are a radical person with partying mood and western mindset this college is not for you. Here principles and sentiments are highly regarded as most of the students also like celebrating the culture with some Puja and knowing our roots.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is affordable with 1.1 lakh per annum which is quite a reasonable price in bangalore. The hostel is well maintained in terms of sanitation and the if there is any repair in the room it is solved in 1 to 2 working days. The rooms are to maintained by the students and the washrooms arr comman use . Hot water is supplied everyday for 2 hours in the morning from 6.30 to 8.30 and 1 hr in the evening ie 6.30 to 7.30. Only issue is that the food does not contain much veggies. It is just some palav and samvhar everyday . The weekends are just worse. During weekends the dinner is just rice with dal . The rice is also not well cooked during dinner.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.

We do see companies and lot of posters inside campus of placements Cgpa with above 8 are dligible for placements here and usually 4th year students are eligible Student named abhinav choudry was offered 52LPA last year from AIML and by company called AMD And in 2020 someone got placed 45lpa from amazon 52lpa was the highest here And the average for my course is around 6-7 lpa Percentage of students getting placed is around 65-80% rest do degree or may not be placed My plan is do m tech after getting degree here
