Well I didn't do pretty good in my PUCs and neither the Colleges entrance examinations. As I was left with a choice to look out for something there were Branch like Mechanical and Civil. They seemed typical engineering branches. Then I looked across the Robotics and automation. I learnt a bit about the course and gained some good amount of interest. Then I decided to take admission for it right away.
The faculties are quite helpful and look out for you. They observe your performances and discuss about this with parents. The course itself is very interesting. We get to know about robots and their roles in our lives. The professors seemed passionate about the subjects too. We have machinaries and robots for more explorations for the course. We even get a robotic lab for activities making it the best part about our branch. Such topics can be quite difficult to understand but easy for practicallity. We get industrial visits every semester for learning the role of robots in different industries. We also get to participate in robotic based events through our Faculties. The faculties are always supporting but 1 or 2 can be a bad news. Overall B.E. in Robotics and Automation in RajaRajeswari college of engineering is probably if not the best college for Robotics and automation in Bengaluru.
The placements and job opertunities are okay for more technical bramch like Computer Science and Electronic Communications. The college has its own placement cell. As for robotics and automation, the first batch is about to graduate and about 6 members got salary of 7lpa. Many are there that I'm unaware of as placements are still going but yeah mostly people are doing good. We'll get more brief about it later.
The Fees for all 4 years is around 5 lakhs. Since most of the students get admission by CET, they can get access to SSP scholarships. For such fees, the facilities are quite good. The fees for management students for Robotics and Automation can range about 70000-90000.
this college is quite similar to schools. We come to college, study and go home. However, you can stay after class for extracurricular activities. The Infrastructure of the college is quite small but well organized. We have organizations such as NCC, NSS and Rotary in the college. We also get 3-4 fests every year. The peers and seniors are nice and you can feel comfortable around them. There are Gyms, Library, Cafeteria and Courts in the campus. Every year Inter Branch sports tournaments are conducted along with VTU tournaments. There are different clubs too where the meetings are held every Saturday. Overall the Experience is quite nice.
I live in Urban Bengaluru and the college is easily accessible by Metro and buses. I didn't opt for Hostel neither PG. But as per the experience of my friends. Hostel is great. The hostel is right next to academic building making it easy to connect. The food is clean and hygienic. They have good quality of food. The hostel rooms are comfortable too. Only thing it lacks is that it has less rooms for students
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
