- Dedication of the faculty, they never miss a class and always compensate
- Restriction free environment, can roam around, can do anything at anytime.
Dislikes
- Hectic exam schedule, having exams every few days is stressful
- Slow progress in getting cafès and other food courts to campus
Remarks :
It is an IIT so the admission process is simple. Study, write JEE Mains qualify, Write JEE Advance and get a below 16k rank so as to get a seat. Why I took this college is because it is what I got in my Counselling, and it being an IIT makes it a Tier 1 college so anyday over the local state colleges. For different courses the rank cutoff is different , like for BS it was 16k For Cs it strated from 4k and qent till 6k and so on. Everything is good , a little new IIT so you wont find cafès and extreme luxury but we have canteen and other good facilities and the luxury coming up soon. And education is the best aspect in my opinion
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculty is PHD. NO faculty below PHD qualification is allowed or accepted into the college. We have our exams in the last week of every month and the semester only lasts 4 months and the pther 4 months of a year are holidays, giving you plenty of free time.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted in personally but we recently had JpMorgan and Qualcomm offering interships for 75k and 1.25lakh per month stipend for those who are selected. It included traning and then internship which is a great opportunity, but it was only from CS and MnC branches.
Placement Experience :
For placement the eligibility is decided by the companies and their is a written exam before the interviews which is to be qualified. JpMorgan, infosys, etc are companies whoch hire from here, obviously expected from an IIT
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is simple It includes the gynkhana fee, Mess fee , other all facilities like hostel, electricity etcetra. No other charges for sports equipment is charged. Everything is included in the 1,40,000. For OBC,SC/ST and EWS categories there are scolarships provided by the SBI bank through the college administration, which makes their tuition fee which is 1 lakh 0. So they only have to pay around 40000. For SC/ST the scolarship comes by default but other categories must wait till the bank and administration approves it for them.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is just what you expect from an engineering college. It is fun and restriction free. We are obviously allowed to do whatever we want, We have plenty of clubs and activities going on , events and sports. We can have fun in the indoor sports or better yet roam in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
No need to apply for hostel rooms as it is compulsory for UG students at all IITs to stay in the hostel. They provide you the list of your roomates based on state and course as they do not want groupism they mix all states and castes and courses. Food quality and mess are good enough , wont be as bad as your coaching for your JEE for sure.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
