- Campus Life- All in all a beautiful campus with lush green surroundings
- Faculty - Very helpful and supportive. Not just your own branch specific Professors rather all of them.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - The inner part of the building apart from classes are of traditional style.
- Clubs - People are too much into clubs here that hamper their academics.
Remarks :
There were Multiple factors that made me choose this college but the one that stood up is it's placement because of its prestigious alumini network. Other reasons are it's Campus beauty , Approchable teachers and Academics as well. There's no such written test ,Group Discussions or any interview for admission. You just have to clear your JEE mains examination and eligible students are admitted under different branches of engineering according to their rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course Curriculum is Okaish. Teachers are great and the way they explains is also decent. Most of them are IITians with great understanding. I choose this course because of my rank but turns out that mechanical Engineering actually interests me a lot now that I am actually studying it. Some Teachers take help of smart boards as well. We have 2 major exams in 1 semester and 2 quiz including lab performance test and viva. The difficulty level is average.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not selected for the internship yet but some of my friends got their internship from college into Big companies like Google, Atlassian, ITC, LinkedIn etc. In our college one can also opt for an internship under your professors which is sometimes paid too.
Placement Experience :
Most underrated Placement record. Last year The Highest placement of my branch was 25 lakhs per annum and the average Package was 8lakhs per annum. Approximately 70% students got placement and get either opted for higher studies or their own startups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee for the first semester is around 1.23 lakh and increases gradually. Currently I am in my 6th semester and it's tuition fee is around 1.73 lakh, including development fee of about 15000 and Exam fee around 8000. Yearly its about 16 lakhs(approximately)and if I break it down to each semester,my overall fee including mess fee is about 2.1 lakhs
Campus Life :
Overall in one word, the campus Life is Fantastic. Here we have Cultural activities almost every weekend of different clubs. We have 2 fest in a year Named Bitotsav which is a cultural fest and other is Pantheon, which is a Technical Fest. Bitotsav is one of the biggest fest in east-India. Bitotsav is conducted in 3rd week of March and Pantheon is conducted on October. Apart from that the infrastructure is Good but the Classroom Infrastructure is awesome. We have noise cancellation walls , smart boards, mic , wooden bench etc. Library is a little small compared to IITs but it's decent as in mostly all academic books are available. The sports and extracurricular activities are great. There are various clubs that are run by students like 180 degrees Consulting, IEEE, Finance Club, Litsoc (literary Society), Dhwani ( singing club), and many more
Hostel Facilities :
The Hostel fee approximately per semester is 20000-25000. The food is of decent quality as compared to other Colleges. We are severed 4 times a day including Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and dinner. Mostly in breakfast you get Fruits as well and in snacks some tasty food is provided. The food quality is good too. To apply for the hostel room you just have to be a part of the College and you must show your Tuition fee receipt to the head.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee
Placement Experience :
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
