No, actually I didn't face much problem. To get admission in college, yes but to get admission for ba.ll.b first of all everyone has to give Maharashtra government's cet i.e. Law Cet entrance test. After that there is an exam after the exam. After the result is out, based on the marks you have got, you have to choose the college you want and then the cap round starts. Then after that if you get selected in your college you need to freeze your admission and go to the college and take admission.
Ba LL.b is a very good course.5-year integrated law course combining arts subjects with law, offering a broad understanding of legal systems and developing analytical skills, suitable for careers in law, legal research, or academia. The faculty is very good and guiding. And the exam is held twice a year. The exam difficulty levels are not that high. Easy to study.
The fee of Dr.Dy Patil College Of Law is 39000/ But really these people i.e. Dy Patil Law College charge this 39000 as admission fee and charge a separate fee of 4000 which is exam fee. Sorry but I felt a little bad about this, even while charging this much fee the college charges additional fees, i.e. for journals etc.,
Dr.dy Patil Law College has a very good social life. That is, there are many fests, two fests are held every year. And the students of the college also participate a lot. A fest is celebrated as Marathi Language Gaurav Din. After that, a fest called velawcity is celebrated. It is a lot of fun. Students dance and sing, many students participate, show their skills. Yes, social life is full of fun.
Actually, there is no hostel for boys here. There is a hostel for girls. And its fees are a bit high. I don't know much. If students are coming from outside, they can stay outside, i.e. nearby, at a higher room rent. We also used to stay at a higher room rent, like you can stay in Nerul, nearby is Juinagar, seawoods is also Belapur. You can also stay in PG, if we talk about the rent of PG, it is from 4000 thousand rupees to 10000 rupees and the room is from 8000 thousand to 15000 thousand rupees.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
