Remarks :
The major factor which was attracted by me was the fact that this is a central university. The exposure it is getting outside is very high. the infrastructure and facilities we are being provided by the university authorities are really impressive . It is worth the exposure. sometimes one might think like having so much pressure during the exam times as they will be conducting all the internals and the semester exams at a single stretch. The admission procedure is purely based on CUET entrance test. Syllabus for the admission test is based on NCERT textbook.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The physics department faculties are very much qualified and experienced in the field of physics. Exams are held semester wise For a semester there will be two internals and the main exam . The dates of the exams will be announced during the beginning of the semester itself. Before conduction of the theory exams, practical exams will be completed by the department. Saying about the difficulty level of the exams, it is depending on the faculties who are taking the course actually. Mostly the questions will be easy to increase the pass percentage.
Internships Opportunities :
Students directly search and find various companies and internship opportunities. Mainly we choose intership provided my IITs and some of the top colleges in India. They have summer and winter internship programs that is being chosen by the students in our University.
Placement Experience :
University is havind a good placement record with top companies like amaon, microsoft, cisco and TCS participating in recruitment drives. Students have been placed in leading scientific laboratories and multinational companies from Department of Physics. Many students have secured research placements in India and also abroad after clearing competitive examinations like GATE and CSIR UGC. The department hasa strong industry academia collaboration, with faculty members involved in projects with leading scientists and industries in India and abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are changing for each semester. for odd semesters(1,3,5,7,9) we have to pay around 20000 and for even semesters (2,4,6,8,10) around 4000 we have to pay. the fee structure is as follows: TUTION FEES-3000, REGISTRATION FEES-300, RECOGNITION FEES-400, SPORTS FUND-500, MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND FACILITIES FUND-600, LIBRARY FUND-1500, LABORATORY FUND-2000, AMENITIES DEVELOPMENT FUND-6000, STUDENTS WELFARE FUND-400, ALUMNI ASSOCIATION FUND-200, CAUTION DEPOSIT-2000, ADVANCED LAB FACILITIES FUND-1000, PLACEMENT ACTIVITY FUND-200, ACADEMIC ACTIVITY FUND-1000, DIGITAL ACTIVITY FUND-2000, GROUP MEDICAL INSURANSE-301, UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT FUND-1200 . among these we have to pay tution fees and placement activity fund for those even semesters. for odd semesters the fees go upto 20000 and beyond based on the peculiarities. The fee amount is same for all. noone is getting any reduction. only scholarships are provided based on several factors.
Campus Life :
Life inside the campus is actually awesome. If we skip the assignments, seminars, internal exams, labs everything from the list we're having the most beautiful moments in our life here. We are having an opportunity to explore the world with friends or even alone. The opportunities for studying things are very wide. We are having a reading hall and library that is accessible to the students from morning 7am to 3am . There are a lot of clubs and social groups ran by the students And events like football match,cricket match, tug of war competition, cultural fest etc.. are being conducted.
Hostel Facilities :
Seperate hostels for boys and girls with basic amenities and transportation services. The hostel facilities provided by the university is very decent with 13 boys hostels and 8 girls hostels each equiped with all basic amenities. And also transportation facilities inside the university campus to and from departments, libraries, and other locations on campus. As for food, the university has multiple canteens and mess facilities. The mess food is ok. But the quality of food is yet to get increased. Hostel admission process is mainly based on the distance of the house of the student from the university. If the distance between the home and university are more than 20km that student is eligible for applying hostel.

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

All about MVIT
Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
