A good course, but bad experience

- Five days classes, schedule, business analytics, course, industrial visit,
- Limited subjects for semester flexible learning environment
Dislikes
- Shortage of faculty as the college has less faculties. Teachers are quite busy and are not available all the time.
- Long breaks between classes this waste our time and energy
- Limited practical explosion in the whole three year, of course, only one practical subject is available that is business analytics
Remarks :
I chose this College as it has the course I wanted to graduate in which is bachelors and management management studies and this college also has sports facility for the sports. I have chosen for sports quota
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good as it includes various subjects like economics accounts and also practical subjects like business analytics. The teachers in our college are irregular. They have one way teaching approach. They don’t give us study material properly as our courses new they make us beg for attendance.
Internships Opportunities :
I have opt an internship through LinkedIn. Only my College don’t provide internship for the first year students and in the second year. I was busy with different courses to enhance my skills, so I haven’t done any internship yet, but I’ll be doing that later.
Placement Experience :
I was in the placement cell of the college and I have seen their management closely and I can assure that the placement and internship opportunities are very less. They usually get these from LinkedIn which are easily available individually. Also, I think only 15 to 40% of the students are getting placed at, The package of 3 to 5 lakhs per
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My annunal college fees is 32500 excluding an additional examination feesof 1500 to 2000 depending upon my subject the annual fees also include thousand rupees for the industrial visit, which didn’t happen in our first year, but in the second year, we visited Tapukara
Campus Life :
Azhar College is very new. They don’t have proper societies and facilities for the society and clubs and the infrastructure and facilities are. Also bad for the societies and the events run in the college are very bad. They don’t have a proper management system and the funding for the events.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
