Admission in this college is given by Passing Jee mains exam and Enrolling in Ipu Counselling. Good aspect of the college include the infrastructure, Academic and Faculty Members .
I chose automation and robotics branch because of my interest in the robotics field . Faculty is very qualified and teaching method is good. There are 2 Exams held which are mid term and end term exam. Mid term exam are held after 3 month of beginning of session and end term exam are held in last. Difficulty level of the exams is about moderate to difficult
I have not yet opted for internship but college show lack of support for providing internship . Internship in pec chandigarh lab is offered after paying 5000 rs And there is almost no free internship provided to students
Placement is average and There are moderate Job Opportunities. Major eligibility includes no back for sitting for the placement. Few companies that visited are Hcl, Wipro etc. The median package is around 4 Lpa and highest package around 18 Lpa
The fees i paid for the course is 1.3 Lakh rupees per year. 40k fees is taken as registration fees during Ipu Counselling. Scholarship upto 50k can be availed by student with Ews Quota For which there is a interview and on passing students fees upto 50k will be refunded
Campus life is fairly good at the college. Annual fest like Anugoonj in held in February and many tech fest are also held by many clubs. There are many clubs in the college like abhivyakti, iosc, Gdsc etc. Library is very well maintained and all engineering related books are present. sport and extracurricular activities are average in the campus . There is a indoor court for playing badminton and huge ground for outdoor games.
Hostel is very poor and there is no warm water during winters and the mess quality is very horrible. Do not recommend staying in hostel instead opt for a Pg. You can Apply for hostel in the administration office at college during counselling and Pg or rooms are near college
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
