Likes
- Infrastructure- It has a newly built food court with hygiene food and spacious seating. The auditorium is very huge and pleasant.
- Campus has different blocks for different streams of engineering ,MBA and first grade college. The sunsets are the most mesmerising with the huge open place in nature.
Dislikes
- Washrooms- all the washrooms in the old buildings have Indian toilets which makes it very hard and dirty for us to use it comfortably. The washrooms are very smelly.
- Uniform- I really dislike the uniform because of how uncomfortable it truly is ,especially the pant. The pant is ill fitting.
Remarks :
I joined this college because of the word of mouth and due to travelling distance from my house which is very near and convenient, the were the MAIN factors why I chose this college. While joining RNSIT I spoke to the principal for the guidance of my course as I wanted pursue a degree in computer science ,he was really helpful and guided me in the right direction. The faculty were really helpful and cooperative with the whole admission process. RNSIT does not have any of its own entrance exam ,students can enter only through CET,ComedK and management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academic wise RNSIT is very strict when it comes to attendance, internal marks and the whole teaching process. The schedule that the college follows is very student friendly and the timings are very good as students who are travelling far(my friends) can be easily on time to college and can reach home at a safe time. Faculties really guide us through many extra courses(especially my mentor) to help us with certifications to help us with our resumes
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships just yet. Few of my seniors are already doing internships in good companies recommended from RNSIT hods and teachers. The highest stipend received by one of the seniors was upto 1 lakh.
Placement Experience :
RNSIT offers very good placements for CSE and ISE course. Last year 220 students 198 students were successful placed in ISE. If you have 8-9 cgpa students can get upto an average package of 6-7 lakhs per annum. If you have more than 9cgpa students can be easily selected under the category of 10 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am an information science engineering student,I got into this college through management quota. I pay 6 Lakhs per year. If you are looking to join through cet or comedk the fees will vary depending on the course and rank from starting 1 lakh to 2.75 lakh per annum.
Campus Life :
As an introvert my college social life had not been great up until 3rd semester but once I found the set of people who matched my interests and had a vision for the future which was similar to mine in a few ways. According to me library is one of the best places to study in RNSIT. Even though the campus is enormous ,library is a comfort place for me to get my work done in a productive manner. Classrooms are huge and very clean. The projector helps the professors and the students in many ways with coding and ppts etc. The sports club is very supportive of every player and the gym in our college for hostel students and day scholars is very tidy and equipped. In 2023 December we had a fest named Pantheon which was very nice as a new college student that was a wholesome experience.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
