I got my admissions through MHT-CET cap rounds. I had a percentile of 93.24 and this college was alloted to me in my second Cap round. The admission process was easy. The student volunteers were helpful and also the instructions given by the teachers were easy to understand. This college is one amongst the best in Maharashtra and also offers good placements.
Since the college has good placements for every branch so I was okay with choosing any branch that was offered to me. The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful but also strict. Digital boards and PPTs are used for teaching purposes and also notes are provided where required. The employed teaching method is good but can be a little challenging for the freshers as most are not familiar with learning through PPTs. The exams are held twice a semester. The mid semester exam [MSE], which is a 30 marks exams and End semester exam [ESE] is a 50 marks exam and 20 marks are for in-sem exam [ISE]. The form of ISE varies from faculty to faculty. Some give assignments while others takes multiple tests. The exam difficulty usually varies between easy to moderate.
As an SC candidate I had to pay Rs.5254 while getting my admission done. The rest cost will be covered by the scholarship. I case the scholarship is not received by the college then we have to pay the entire course fees.
The college holds Annual Social Gathering [ASG] every year. This year it was held in the month of February. ASG includes various competitions like singing, dancing, sketching, Rangoli making, drama and also the inter-branch sports competitions. It is week long event. The college has a huge library with books for all the subjects and exams preparations. It is easy to borrow and return books in the library and it is a very quiet and peaceful place to study. The college and many active clubs for and by students. Each branch has their own technical clubs. There are numerous other Social clubs like PACE, Rotaract, Art Circle, SOFTA, ACM students chapter, Codechef, WLUG, GDSC, MLSC, and many more. All these clubs help students learn and grow. They meet people with similar views and goals which lead to a better and happy college life. Each club has their own instagram pages handled by their respective heads.
The hostel admission process is also easy. During the admission process u are given a registration form where u are asked a question if u need a hostel. After all admissions are confirmed a list of hostel allotment is released. It can be a hassle for boys but generally all the girls who have applied for hostels are granted one. There are 4 girls in one room, but u can also get a get for 2 but the fees vary. There are 2 mess in the hostel. The food is edible and has good variety. Also the college has many PG and rental facilities around it
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
