Remarks :

i couldn't score a decent percentile in my JEE and subsequent other all India level exams for Engineering courses . Eventually I got to know about Bv-Cet (an all India level exam conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth) , I applied and appeared for their exam ie conducted in CBT mode comprising of subjects - Physics , Chemistry , Maths in easy to moderate level . I got well through this examination , scored an Air of 2807 and furthermore in the offline counselling of Bvcoe I was offered branches like ECE , E&Tc , Electrical , mechanical etc among which I chose for E&Tc branch and hence got enrolled

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.Tech in E&Tc as my majors primarily because I wasn't offered Branches like Cse ,IT , Comp Engg based on what I scored in Bv-Cet . Also , as per the industry trends , in the coming years , Branches like ECE , E&Tc are going to get a market boom and possibly could've a lot of new job openings . This fact somewhat resonated with my goals and ambitions in Engineering so I didn't give a second thought of reconsideration before Choosing this branch. The Faculty is more or less good in our branch . some are experienced PhD holders whereas others have MTech as their highest qualification . Nevertheless , they've a considerable teaching experience of more than 10 years . The curriculum we're following now is at par with the New Education Policy and recent syllabus .

Internships Opportunities :

I'm in my 2nd Semester of college and preparing myself for a good tech stack and hard skills that would eventually fetch me a good internship in coming days . The companies that Regularly visit our college for internship varies with branches and the tech stack they want in a student . CDAC usually provides internships . also given the benefic location of Pune , the location acts as enhancer of opportunities for internships and PPO's

Placement Experience :

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Pune has recorded good placements in the past few years . The eligibility for placements is an average of 6.5 cgpa till your 3rd/4th year for most of the companies . Some companies may keep their bar a bit higher than this , this matters from company to company. Most of the Companies are Service Based , Very less Product based . companies like Tcs , Capgemini , Cognizant , Accenture , Icici Lombard , Amdocs , Axtria , Tata Power are amongst the top recruiters of our college every year . Almost 80 to 85% of students get placed every year with an average salary expectancy of 6 Lpa in most cases . I also plan to sit for placements and get a decent package offering.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition Fee - 1,73,650 caution money - 2,000 uniform fee - 2,700 stationary fee - 800 smart Card Fee - 450 exam fee - 5200 per semester The Fees according to this Fee structure is expected to increase @ 5% every year .

Campus Life :

Bvcoe conducts their Annual Techno Cultural Fest Called Bharatiyam which Takes place every year on the month of February or March . it is a 2-Day Fest that is organised by our college and the student associations of all departments actively take part in it , along with the student clubs , Cells and student Societies . Sports activities are averagely okay not that great . there are a lots of official student clubs like Google Developer club on campus , Geeks for Geeks student chapter , Art circle , Raqs , Malhaar , Entrepreneurship & Development Cell , Training & Placement Cell . The library is well equipped , 3 storeyed and Well updated . It remains open till 5pm on regular days and till 8pm during exams .

Hostel Facilities :

There's only one Boys Hostel (D Hostel) with a total capacity of around 200 students . Most of them are Of Engineering 1st year . The Mess is open for 7 days a week except Sunday's dinner that we've to do it anywhere outside . The Hostel and Mess fee seem a bit too expensive . the total fee for one year is 1,18,500 including mess . The rooms are Triple sharing . The Mess food is average . on a scale of 10 I would rate 6. For renting room or Pg , the local area is fairly good and there's a lot of availability of Pg's and Hostels and 1Bhk Flats

An industry focused learning experience

Placement Experience :

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
