Good college but could be better. Though an ok choice in the area compared to their colleges.
Remarks :
My reasons for choosing this college were : *Neighbour state *No better colleges in my state *Good placements in the year I joined the college *Reputed and one of the top colleges in the neighbour states No gd or pi for admission. Admission was through JEE marks and college entrance exam (cget).
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing CSE was a pre decided choice for me for quite some time. And I found this college offering btech in CSE with good average placements thus my decision. The faculties are mostly well qualified with the professors and associate professors being doctorates and with industry experience. Teaching methods are not fully adapted to modern needs and still many faculties choose conventional methods what they are used to. Exams are not very difficult and fairly ok and even easy to pass if you study a bit.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't applied for any internships as there aren't any worthwhile internships available in the first place. The college doesn't offer any internships to students. The companies when come for placement they sometimes offer internships to selected students like 40-50 students rest are in their own.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria mostly depends on the company's requirements and if college is considered we just have to maintain a cgpa above 7 to sit in company placements and this is easy to maintain. Accenture, Infosys, JP Morgan, TCS, and many other companies select students for placement here. Highest package as far as I have seen went upto 40 lpa offered by Amazon on the year 2022-23 and average can go upto 6 lpa. This year more than 85% are placed in good companies with highest of 16 lpa. I plan to take a package upto 10 lpa and then work for that company for atleast 3 years and later planning to get higher studies by qualifying GATE.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It was 175000 per year for me(CSE core) then has now been increased to 225000 for current batch and may increase further. Registration fees for me are 3000 per semester. There are no difference in fees depending on quota. There are some government scholarships available through dean of students welfare office. Detailed updates are posted on the college website.
Campus Life :
Cultural fest / Annual fest conducted in February each year. Freshers conducted in November around diwali. Almost all recommended textbooks and references are available in libraries. Around half classrooms are fitted with smart boards. Annual sports is conducted once a year. Other extracurricular activities are mostly of clubs. Sports amenities are a football ground, a volley ball court , a basketball court and a cricket ground. Clubs run by students are noor(music), dhvani(open mic), dexters(dance), google developers club , robotics club, space club.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess is shit. Food is shit. Not fit for regular consumption. You'll get digestive problems, it's that bad. We only ever eat for survival. Sometimes once a week they'll miraculously make edible food then go back to shit meals. Hostels are good but I'd say overpriced. Registration process is ok but they'll assign you random hostels and not give you choice inspite of available rooms. Pgs are a good option but better refer with a senior, friends or relatives if any to avoid overcharges and brokerage fees.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
