I heard about this college from my one senior who is already studying in the same college. Now he is in the second year. And when I came to visit this college it seems good . And I ask to students who is already studying they told the college is good .
I have opted BTech in CSE AI . Because I think that this is the future course as we know Ai is becoming a bigger part of the technology in India day by day. The faculty members of the college are too good they are cooperative and supportive. They r graduated from top college and some from IIT and NIT also. Yearly they conduct 2 external exam and 2 internal exams and the difficulty level is moderate.
I haven't opted any intership till now. The college doesn't provide any intership program u have to opt in by on ur own. I have asked to the senior regarding this they told they are doing internship without any support of college.
As we know this is a 3 tier college so the placement is also average. The highest package this college offers is 10 lakh as per the information from college website and the avg package is 3 to 4 lakh. The eligibility criteria in this college for the placement is we have minimum 7.5 cgpa to sit in every company which came to this college. The percentage rate for the placement is low but if have skilled ur self u can definitely get a good company offer.
The yearly fee structure of our college is 140000 and the semester fees is 70000 and the semester exam fees is 2500 per semester. They gives scholarships to the student . e kalyan scholarship which gives scholarships of 20k per year.
As a first year student I have not experience that much of campus life because of too much of restrictions in the college for 1st year student . But at the time of fest and other cultural activities we really enjoy too much. The Name of the fest is akansha which is our main fest . The library of this college is too good it contains variety of books journalism and many other. The seniors of this college have created social group for any activities.
Yes I have opted hostel . There are total 17 to 18 hostels. The hostel room has 4 bed 6 bed 2bed and single bed facility. They provide one water cooler in every hostel . The infrastructure is not that much good they don't even renuwate it for long time. The food at mess is very bad I don't like the food from the mess.
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
