I chose this college as it is one of the top colleges in DU. I couldn't clear the cutoff for Hindu and LSR college therefore, the next best college was KMC. Getting admission into KMC is done through CUET-UG, which is conducted by NTA every year. There are no further interview rounds. Preparing for CUET can be done by self study as it is based on 12th standard syllabus along with general aptitude.
Statistics as a course excited me due to its versatility and application across various sectors. Curriculum is relevant except for the additional subjects we've to study under the NEP policy. Faculty is highly qualified and experienced and are always ready to assist students in academic as well as personal matters. Internal exams are conducted once a semester which covers approx 50% of the syllabus and final end sem exams are conducted, both of the exams are pretty straightforward and easy to pass.
Various companies provide internship opportunities along with possible ppo. Internship opportunities in various fields are available. An internship fair is also done once a year wherein various companies visit campus and conduct offline interviews and do the hiring process on spot. Average internship stipend is around 10000, highest being 90000 by Accenture. Overall internship experience is also nice.
To be qualified for placements you must have a cgpa of atleast 7, some companies also accept applications of 6 cgpa and above. Various companies visit campus for placements including the Big 4, KPMG, WTW, Amazon etc. The highest package of this year was 23 LPA which was offered by DE Shaw. Hiring is done for various roles and average package ranges around 8-10 LPA
The overall yearly fees for Bsc (Hons) Statistics is approximately 13000 per year. Along with it and examination fees of around 1600-1800 has to be paid each semester, which includes lab fees, practical fees, etc. The fees for OBC category is almost same however it is slightly lower for SC and ST categories.
College life at KMC is pretty good. There are a variety of societies and sports which allows students to explore their passion and talents outside the classroom. The college library is well built with a 3 storey building and contains course books, journals, past papers, etc. College also has a huge sports ground and gym facilities available for the students.
I haven't opted for hostel as I'm from the same city. But I surely do have friends from hostel. The hostel availability is limited and is done on first come first serve basis. For the remaining students, pg facility is available in Kamla Nagar, GTB Nagar, and other nearby areas. Hostel mess canteen food is pretty good and quality of food is also fine. The hostel rent is 25k-27k per semester.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
