- The best thing about this college is that it it very much near to the metro station i.e dwarka Sector 11 metro station and the market here is also near of dwarka sector 11. But the market is little far so cannot go there by walking.
- Faculty here is very much supportive. The teaching method of the faculty members is highly appreciated. One of the teacher is the best and anyone in this college would agree to it. She is absolutely amazing in her field and gives real life examples and cases in teaching. She not only teaches you but also guides you in professional as well as in the personal life. Mostly all the faculty members are good if they don't have any personal issues with you.
Dislikes
- The management of the college is very bad. I mean the Event which they plan never gets ended by the same way it was planned. They made changes in the plan at the last moments or even sometimes the plan also gets cancelled at the last moment. I don't know who's fault is this but this is the reality and this happened with me all the times.
- Placements are va major concern for the students. Mostly students don't expect much from the on campus placements offered here. Because of the companies which are offered to the students are sometimes not even the reputed company. Mostly students ppt for the off campus placements and they have to search on their own in order to get placed in good companies. For internships also, students don't rely on the companies offered by this college and search on their own for the better opportunities.
Remarks :
The first factor that made me choose this college is my rank in the IPU CET entrance exam. I have got 5500 rank in the entrance exams and google reviews says that this college is great in this rank. Another factor that made me choose this college is the nearness to the metro station. Although there is no bus stand nearby but the college is very near to the Dwarka sector 11 metro station (blue line). There is only 100 m walk maximum. In the other IPU colleges you have to take e rickshaws to reach the college. No, there was no group discussion, interview or written test for the admission in this college. Actually in ip University colleges the whole procedure is online. You have to fill the preference sheet and then you get the college according to the preference sheet you have filled. After that the college you have reserved you have to go to the college and submit the documents and the mentioned fee then your admission is done.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because I was interested in persuing commerce and management. The course curriculum is designed by the guru gobind singh Indraprastha University which is more focused on the theoretical approach. The faculty here is highly qualified. Some of the teachers are highly supportive and approachable. All the teachers here are very friendly. Despite there are some teachers which are strict and not friendly. But some of the teachers are mind blowing. The teaching method of her is also commendable. She teaches the real life examples and cases. Some of the teachers here focus on only through the exam point of view but some teachers teach to prepare students for the future ready. Some of the teachers are new. In this college the exams conducted are two times internals in the college only whereas externals by the GGSIP University in different colleges. However this time college decides to take online 15 min exams also for students attendance
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I have got only one internship opportunity which is also from the teaching institute. But last time the students were offered the internship from the Airport authority of India and they cracked it also. This time also it was expected to be there . The roles offered here are for the Human resources (HR) , marketing, sales, finance and IT. The maximum stipend offered here is of 10000. But some students have to find the internships in their own in order to do the internship as no one cannot expect the better.
Placement Experience :
The campus placements offered here is also average. There are no top companies in the campus. To be eligible for the placement you have to give the interviews and assessment tests. For internships also, there are very average companies but last year they contracted with the airport authority of India. In this few students have done their internships there. The average package offered here is Rupees 3,00,000 for BBA and for MBA average package is about 3-5 lakh maximum. If you wish to get into the better job opportunities you have to go for the off campus placements because of the low placements offered here. Since after bba some students ppt for higher studies also and most of them ppt for off campus placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college follows the fees structure designed by the guru gobind singh Indraprastha University. In the first year you have to pay around 1,15,000 including all other extra charges such as examination fees etc. In the second year you have to pay around 1,00,000 rupees. And in the third year you have to pay around 95,000. This was my fees structure during my college time for 3 years, every year the university revised the fee structure. This is the fee structure for general category. Other than this, the university has set a security deposit of 10,000 rupees which is refundable when you get the degree. Also, the college provides the scholarships only to the eligible students for other castes but the maximum amount provided is around 20,000. I would say this college is very much affordable as compared to the other ipu colleges.
Campus Life :
The campus life is average. I would say it is average because of the bad management. Everytime they wished to conduct a fest, either it got cancelled or postponed. There is no fixed month of conducting a fest. There are various clubs in the college such as Eco club, Entrepreneurship Development cell, social club, placement cell, nss cell , cultural club etc and the clubs is directed by the teachers only there are no student coordinators. Only the students helped them with no respect and appreciation. The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and projectors but the problem is the projectors create a lot of problem. Library also has 1000+ books but mostly are of the older versions . The campus is small so no extracurricular activities is conducted. However, there is an annual sports event conducted but the students have to practice in the nearby local park or ground and the event is also conducted in the kalkaji branch or any other local ground.
Hostel Facilities :
The college doesn't have any hostel facilities. The college closed around 4pm in the evening. The canteen here is also average. The college operates the canteen with a contract with the external vendors. But the vendors also gets changed every semester i don't know the reason. There is no residential facility for the outside students.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
